I'm a proud Bulakena but We often write an assessment about dining places in the town and I usually forget to do an assessment on the best eateries in Bulacan. I heard about "Balangkas" cafe from my older sister who happened to readabout a column in a newspaper compiled by Lucy Torres. Who owns the restaurant is really a family buddy of Lucy Torres' hubby. This article featured Balangkas' well-known deep fried chicken offered with a salad and nido soup. Therefore, I thought to myself I must try out this for myself. I proceeded to go there with my companion and an old woman greeted us. The area can be an old structure rather than quite maintained. There have been mosquitoes and ants but also for local Filipinos it's okay. We didn't brain. We purchased the fried chicken food. We waited for approximately 20 minutes also it was worthy of the wait around. The nido soup had been great. The half fried poultry has been crispy and tender, utterly tasty! The fried rice compliments the poultry. They even offered us a free of charge pitcher of iced-tea! By my criteria, it tasted much better than Max's fried poultry. Our total costs was P380.00 ($8.47).For a whole home cooked dinner it was cheap.
