ASMARA REVIEW. After surviving in Cebu 19 years i could very truthfully report that dinner yesterday evening was a complete disgrace. Easily the most severe dinning experience i've ever had. The meals was disgusting. Roast potatoes, All 3 servings very tough. Sent them back,nevertheless came back hard. Chicken cacciatore, a little sticky disgusting mess. The poultry was hard also. My friends steak was served cold My friends pork tenderloin appeared more like 2 slim slices of bacon, also served chilly. I asked to start to see the chef and informed her, if the chef have been a male i believe my comments in his food could have been more, Gordon Ramsey design. They then added salt to the wound giving us free dessert. I believed an excellent gesture. Till i noticed it. Creme Caramel. It had been similar to incinerated Creme. Nearly burn to a sharp. We have there been for drinks at 5.30pm and left from 8pm. We were the only real ones in the eating place, what a surprise. The owner had not been available for comment. If this has experienced the west i'd have refused to cover it, but as is normally the situation here it could have arrived of the employees wages, and i didn't want that to occur. BTW, Asmara may be the old sand trap. Banilad Cebu.

I can honestly point out (and we have been italian), this was the very best meal i actually ate in Cebu Town. From the loaf of bread, fornarina bread, wines, to every tasty bite of ours dinner, dessert, coffee to personnel was an amazing encounter. Can’t be skipped! Authentic italianrestaurant. Amara will undoubtedly be our reference italian cafe when we stay static in Cebu City .
