My GF's bday nowadays and we had lunch time here. Loved the poultry binakol and the spicy sisig. The cafe is vibrant and clear. Because of Earl for the nice service with a grin.

Kamalig is a great comfy diner inside Iloilo. Supplies a complete selection of Ilongo treats at affordable prices.

The menu did me in. I'd looked forwards to this Kamalig to accomplish what the burned out one in Dumaguete no more can. But I simply couldn't get past having less food preparation smells and their ragged searching overpriced menu. You may know theplace: their normal menu cheaply manufactured in the initial place, the hostess fingers you this raggy factor, and one notices the whitened slips of document glued along with the original prices. Needless to say owners seldom re-cost for less, therefore to cover 500p for a dish that somewhere else is frequently only 300 is really a stretch. Despite its place and upper-middle course hype, that spot didn't invite myself in. THEREFORE I left. Owners and employees alike don't seem to understand that customers hold a business open, and for that reason their incomes intact. But because they were very busy right after 1pm with pinoy patrons, it appears no-one notices the shabby display, nor the meals that may or might not reflect the menu's sad form.

We just originated from Bacolod thus we hankered for the juicy and flavorful poultry inasal. It had been a disappointment as the chicken served had been dry and hard. We cherished the KBL (kadios, baboy, langka) though, flavored by batuan.
