This Japanese restaurant at rob magnolia includes a excellent ambience. Airconditioning is fragile. Food although broad in options isn't as effective as humbler restos. Salmon is really a bit overcooked. they're sold-out of sashimi. Sushi disappointing. Seafood ramen lacks taste. Eli tempurais okay. The saving grace can be their oyster teppanyaki Wi th huge oysters.

So this eating place is managed by exactly the same team as Sumo Sam and judging from the menus and prices, it is a high-finish version of the area. Close friends and I were buying new Japanese spot to try therefore we decided on that one. Uponseeing the menus and set-up, you can quickly surmise that their specialized is teppanyaki therefore we ordered their blended edition of shrimps, wagyu, pork and poultry set which was included with miso soup and fried rice (P2K++). We furthermore experienced salmon sashimi (P298), wagyu gyoza (P348), and ebi tempura (P368). This we downed with several bottles of Sapporo beer (P118/bot). I have to say that the flavor and high quality of all dishes fit the picture they are conveying- top quality. We liked every morsel of it. They also have a continuing promo from BPI charge card where you get a free of charge dish of mixed sushi rolls for bills above 2K if you are using the card. Sushi rools are very good aswell. For the 3 folks, our bill arrived to about P4K++. Service is quick and ambience comes with an genuine Japanese experience to it. This can be a onetime deal for me personally for I could equally benefit from the same dishes from some other restos at a very much lesser cost (wagyu excluded).

First time to use teppanyaki and we weren't dissatisfied. We purchased some wagyu beef teppanyaki, ebi tempura and aburi salmon sushi. Taste has been amazing. The wagyu teppanyaki arranged was best for two and had been a whole meal with vegetables, poultry, prawns and 100g of wagyu. The beef was extremely tender and flavorful. The aburi sake (smoked salmon) was divine. AJ our teppan chef was skilled and his showmanship was great. Location was cosy and provider was quick and courteous. Price could be a little bit steep tho. Our lunch time cost us about $80 total. Is a good choice for specific occasions.

Ambiance is not poor, very accessible especially to my aunt who's almost 80 yrs . old. Food was usually good, even though chawanmoshi was as well watery and the salmon teppanyaki as well oily. Service really was fast.

I have already been frequenting this location for a while using its proximity from might work. The encounters have gone from very good to poor specifically the staff services. My recent go to was probably the most disappointing. Employees is not mindful of their restricted guestand it appears preoccupied with other issues. THEY LACK JAPANESE DESIGN OF Services THAT ALWAYS THINK ABOUT WHAT IS BEST BECAUSE OF THEIR GUEST. The staff didn't focus on our concerns soon after supplying us with Menus list. Worst they'll forget your orders. We ordered salmon teppan, squid teppan, ebi teppan, sushi, sashimi, fried rice, and ebi tempura. All of the tepanyakis weren't cooked within their teppanyaki grill shown outside, but of their kitchen. Food will be dry!

Their sushi platter is typical. Can't say they used the very best available ingredients. Not really worthwhile for P888++. The poultry yakitori skewers are usually tasteless. The only selection had been to bathe them in soy sauce, in which particular case they arrived too salty.

This is my first-time to produce a food review. My encounter in Akira deserves an award to find the best in worst...most severe ramen, most severe miso soup (TokyoTokyo is definitely even way better!), most severe tasting ebi tempura. Their "akira roll" will be so-so. Never again, Akira!

Place is kinda aged and requirements some retouch or perhaps a little more washing will do...there’s just a little roach leisurely strolling on our desk. Food is merely so-so... and much too overpriced. Menus is lengthy with plenty of choices but flavor is just typical. Wehad the fixed yakiniku plus some yakitori skewers that doesn’t leave a long lasting impression in my own mouth. Can’t also remember all of those other food we ordered...experienced better Japanese food with a lower price.

Had lunch along with family here but their meals wasn’t as effective as anticipated. Salmon sashimi quality has been disappointing, but their baked salmon had been okay. Beef Tepan tasted great but meats wasnt tender despite moderate doneness. Scallops weren't very clean and lacked in flavor. I’vetried much better katsu than theirs. Salad has been simply ok and service simply ok too.
