I spend a fair couple of months every year in Aklan and sadly the neighborhood cuisine just will not carry out it for me personally. Kalibo whilst nevertheless a little town if in comparison to state Davao or Manila is really a point of curiosity because of the Ati-Atihan festivalthat draws significant tourist to the spot during the 30 days of January, Kalibo can be a gateway to Boracay and I hear again and again that getting quality meals for travellers is challenging. Sen Lek Thai Noodle opened up recently and thankfully they will have brought genuine Thai cafe foods to the city. The restaurant is situated just from the main square near Kalibo Cathedral, I'd say it could take about a quarter-hour to travel within a tricycle from the Airport terminal and is just a few minutes from the Caticlan shuttle bus grab in the primary town. The restaurant is contemporary with a nice interior seating area with AirCon and also a smaller sized section at the front end if you want to sit outdoors, service is good and the meals is prepared fresh. The menu is easy and very much like an average cafe that you'll find in Thailand with Khao Pad Gai (Chicken fried rice) and Pad Thai noodles being truly a staple, addititionally there is Veggie options offered that is very refreshing. A typical Poultry Fried rice or Pad Thai noodles will definitely cost around P150 which explains why I'd now say this location is probably the cost effective to quality meals anywhere within Kalibo. As a family group we've eaten here several times currently and the product quality is consistent. They do present takeaway and this will come in proper containers with cutlery, I just mention this when i experienced some real head shaking moments wanting to get takeaway food in Kalibo. The only down side is that it closes at 9pm, this is similar to the majority of Kalibo because the whole town is commonly quite concerning food options from about 8pm, I say that when it comes to Gaisano mall etc etc. So all in in case you are going through Kalibo and desire to sample high quality food at unbeatable costs then this is actually the place.

They serve authentic Thai food. We've been dining as of this restaurant every once in awhile. We appreciate they are incorporating some products on the menus. There were just situations that the grade of meals becomes inconsistent. There are occasions the number of theingredients were much less; there was onetime that the chicken golf ball on the soup had been spoiled; and there is also a period we have been served with cold foods.
