JD Bakery and Cafe is similar to a more impressive version of the popular JD Bakery, which includes many branches inside Iloilo. There are just two JD Bakery and Cafe branches I'm acquainted with -- one along Gen. Luna St., and a different one at Robinsons PlaceIloilo (on the floor level). The area serves breakfast during the day (even yet in the evening), like rice with longanisa, tocino or bangus; various kinds of pasta meals; all-time favorite fried poultry and palabok; cool and hot beverages; and, needless to say, pastries. The main one at Robinsons Place Iloilo is fairly small, with just around 15 small tables for sitting. Service often takes around 15-20 minutes (well, based on what you purchase and on the amount of customers to assist). It's similar to a "caridenria" or perhaps a standard Filipino eatery except that it's located in the fully air-conditioned retail center. The foods is fairly good and certainly matches Filipino taste. I simply noticed that hygiene may also be lacking. There is this lady, for instance, who was simply cleaning the cup stand with pastries inside with a brush without also emptying the stand very first to avoid producing crumbs drop on the pastries. One little bit of pastry had been in the incorrect place and she basically grabbed it with her bare fingers, no gloves, to place it on an increased stand. At a particular point there is this waiter who walked in with a plastic material container for dirty meals with drinking water dripping on to the floor. These little things aren't a good view to behold if you are a person having your dinner there. I am hoping the staff will be better trained concerning hygiene and most convenient way of cleaning issues up in a eating place.

It's nice to return to the best place when We was in university. They have the most common affordable foods and yummy pastries. An instant snack and a pasalubong location when you are venturing through Iloilo to some other province. Their callos, salad and rice ismy normal pick and a container of assorted dessert pubs.

Home of the greatest butter chewies and something of Iloilo's best chocolate chip cookies. Their sandwiches are usually good too (try out the ciabatta ham sandwich). Their products may also be reasonably priced.

Meals can be found at student's cost - rice foods, cakes, pastries. Espresso is strong and great. The ambiance is flawlessly comfortable for kumustahan.

If you would like pasalubong for your family and friends, try JD Bakeshop. You will find these in main malls in Iloilo or you can travel to them in Gen Luna St., etc.
