The food is great and the films are like being within an outdoor cinema! It is a really genuine experience - it a large open industry with bamboo mats on to the floor with comfy pillows and fire torches throughout to lighting up the area. Theyeven have citronella plant life to greatly help with the mosquitoes. It is a community run eating place - 24 households that live over the road and several of these work in the cafe. I love understanding that yourmy money will probably support the locals.

The staff was kind, the meals was authentic and the view was amazing! Loved sitting down on the porch and simply watching the rainfall clouds roll by on the island in the length. The city is friendly and available to travelers. DEFINITLY heading back ;)

Emerged there on a member of family quiet evening. No others consuming in the restaurant, however, many by the movie, however, not as well crowded there either. We purchased poultry in coconut sauce and a seafood of the day. Needed a beer aswell, however they were soldout, has been a lot of beer in El nido therefore appear to be a lazy excuse. When we got the meals after one hour (which if definitely too much time in my own book..). The poultry was served first just slightly warm so when the seafood was served grilled dried out. They heated the poultry once more so that was very good. With a await one hour we thought at the very least they could manage serve an excellent meal, but no... All inn all not really worth the stroll from El nido. In case you are thinking about walking to exactly the same view, stroll 50 meters additional to Cadlao Restaurant..

I loved this location. It's a geniune big shack having an open kitchen the ambience I'd like when I travel. Stunning views over Cadlao. Good prices. Ask what seafood they have. They generally showed me also it was refreshing as fresh cooked gradually withtender love and treatment by the beautiful ladies there. You will get boneless fillets of jack seafood. So excellent. Big portions, big aspect of veges, seperate plate of rice, seperate plate of sauce. Therefore tasty. Sometimes a good free of charge slice of watermelon. Proceeds go in to the village therefore it's an excellent cause. Ate here nearly every night time when in El Nido 10 times. I'd had several quite disappointing foods in El Nido city before I came across this gem. It requires some time but it's worthy of the wait. Shut Sunday's. Just a 10 minute stroll from El Nido city.

We stayed at the cottage close to the restaurant for a couple nights. Caalan GK is ideal for breakfast along with dinner. As all around the Philippines it will take a while before food arrives, therefore don't come very starving. Some nights they havea film night in the industry next to the cafe - picnic blankets and pillows provided! Well worth a couple of minutes stroll from El Nido city - that's if you're searching for something less busy and quiet.

My wife and i stayed here for 3 nights. This social business is designed in a manner that it benefits regional families locally, so it's for an excellent cause. The girls there -- Maricel, Merlinda, and Hyde -- were all really cozy andhelpful all throughout our stick with them, plus they prepared among the best dishes we've tasted in El Nido (e.g, the seafood and veggie curries, their homemade breads). I have to say that people got really perfectly with them, which provide a "human/local contact" to the journey. There was a combination up about breakfast, nevertheless, if it was contained in what we covered or not (much better clarify this from the get-go), however the proprietors gave us discounts in it ultimately, which we appreciated quite definitely. Although two rooms they have are extremely basic, they're spacious -- could accommodate 4 max. The see of Cadlao island over the open drinking water from their property is ideal, the swimmable elements of Cadlao seaside and Payong-payong beach certainly are a few mins walk later on, and usually the area isn't as hectic and noisy as in El Nido city. Each night except Sunday, there is also free movie viewings in leading yard. It takes a walk to access this location from the town middle but it's being peaceful and more peaceful helps it be rather enchanting (bring torch when venturing out during the night). I enjoyed keeping here a lot due to the local employees' hospitality, the environment, and the meals. Our experience right here was among those we cherished a whole lot from our vacation in El Nido.

There are three significant reasons why I loved this place, the meals is excellent (and value), the view is stunning and the complete community works jointly to perform this restaurant. All of the profits made are placed into a neighborhood fund to greatly help send thevillage kids to school and university (education isn't free here). El Nido city itself is very grim and ridiculously overpriced, therefore the 15minute walk across the beach and across the corner to the place is totally worthwhile. As with all dining places in the Philippines the meals was created to order, therefore it will need some time for the foods to come, you need to expect to wait around to take pleasure from visiting here. The poultry sandwich is delicious therefore is the fruit and cereal at breakfast, do not forget to possess a mango shake :). The ladies will often talk with you with a grin plus they take great interest in cooking their meals. You can even volunteer in this village by way of a website called radical tourists in the event that you fancy each day or two helping out there.

We chose this rustic homestay since it supports a little village with it's proceeds. Individuals are pleasant and breakfast is roofed that is either Filipino design or American design. The areas themselves are really rustic with bed, bedding, fan and your bathrooms with shower.Pro: inexpensive, awesome Oceanside cabin with amazing watch, great breakfast, nice people, quiet area Cons: low water stress for showers, zero mosquito nets, the floorboards have got spaces between them where one can see the surface, large palmetto bugs

Staffs need more teaching how exactly to accommodate guest. These were rude. They didn't even bother to describe what's the offer in keeping there ( we skip our breakfast coz we've no concept). I knew that remaining there is for an underlying cause but please provideyour guest a good and hospitable staffs. We likely to stay for 4 nights but since Our very first interaction using them was horrible why bother. We shifted by another morning to other resort. No AC NO TV NO wifi Poor shower. P.S Before reserving this hotel please be sure to do check a nearby. I don't need you men to be surprise. Thank you.

I must say i liked this location... it's completely from the tourist path and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is directly on the drinking water with incredible sights of the hawaiian islands in the length. It is rather community oriented and you can find curious kids just about everywhere, which wasnice since i have loved enjoying with the kids. Try the: coconut pineapple chicken
