The food is great and the films are like being within an outdoor cinema! It is a really genuine experience - it a large open industry with bamboo mats on to the floor with comfy pillows and fire torches throughout to lighting up the area. Theyeven have citronella plant life to greatly help with the mosquitoes. It is a community run eating place - 24 households that live over the road and several of these work in the cafe. I love understanding that yourmy money will probably support the locals.

The staff was kind, the meals was authentic and the view was amazing! Loved sitting down on the porch and simply watching the rainfall clouds roll by on the island in the length. The city is friendly and available to travelers. DEFINITLY heading back ;)

Emerged there on a member of family quiet evening. No others consuming in the restaurant, however, many by the movie, however, not as well crowded there either. We purchased poultry in coconut sauce and a seafood of the day. Needed a beer aswell, however they were soldout, has been a lot of beer in El nido therefore appear to be a lazy excuse. When we got the meals after one hour (which if definitely too much time in my own book..). The poultry was served first just slightly warm so when the seafood was served grilled dried out. They heated the poultry once more so that was very good. With a await one hour we thought at the very least they could manage serve an excellent meal, but no... All inn all not really worth the stroll from El nido. In case you are thinking about walking to exactly the same view, stroll 50 meters additional to Cadlao Restaurant..

I loved this location. It's a geniune big shack having an open kitchen the ambience I'd like when I travel. Stunning views over Cadlao. Good prices. Ask what seafood they have. They generally showed me also it was refreshing as fresh cooked gradually withtender love and treatment by the beautiful ladies there. You will get boneless fillets of jack seafood. So excellent. Big portions, big aspect of veges, seperate plate of rice, seperate plate of sauce. Therefore tasty. Sometimes a good free of charge slice of watermelon. Proceeds go in to the village therefore it's an excellent cause. Ate here nearly every night time when in El Nido 10 times. I'd had several quite disappointing foods in El Nido city before I came across this gem. It requires some time but it's worthy of the wait. Shut Sunday's. Just a 10 minute stroll from El Nido city.

We stayed at the cottage close to the restaurant for a couple nights. Caalan GK is ideal for breakfast along with dinner. As all around the Philippines it will take a while before food arrives, therefore don't come very starving. Some nights they havea film night in the industry next to the cafe - picnic blankets and pillows provided! Well worth a couple of minutes stroll from El Nido city - that's if you're searching for something less busy and quiet.
