We invited friends surviving in Dumaguete to lunch time plus they recommended La Essencia Cafe in Resort Essencia. There have been 5 folks in two vehicles. Problem: not a lot of parking, hotel is inside a busy road and parking is really a real problem. It had been a Saturday& safeguard at nearby shut establishment permitted us to recreation area there. The menus was quite extensive, several pages lengthy. Filipino, Chinese, western, they will have it. Ordered what looked great on their menus filled with pictures. (See pictures for what we purchased) Food was good, nothing at all spectacular but good. And total bill really was quite low. And place is good, too. Simply in the lobby of the resort. Recommended

I've visited this cafe often and loved it even more with each go to. The staff are excellent and the meals is really enjoyable. Waiting period for the meals to arrive is great, shortly at all and it's really made fresh also to purchase. The attentionshowed to us by the personnel, made us feel really welcomed. An excellent meal every time with a pricetag promised never to ruin the experience.

I actually stayed at the resort and had breakfast included that was good. I made a decision to attempt them for lunch time and found that they had a large menu and the meals was good.
