I'm a large fan of Poultry Inato, and Atong Kamalig will it perfectly. They serve plenty of it, so it is always refreshing off the grill. A aspect of rice and a frosty San Miguel - produces a great meal.

They serve good food - poultry inato, beef pochero, chopsuey, pancit. A very important factor we don't like is usually their pork sisig, it's 70 to 80% pork fat. Hopefully that they'll do something positive about it. This cafe is till must attempt when in Dumaguete!

Somebody recommended this resto. Positive thing we proceeded to go. Everything we ordered had been yummy. Specifically the Kinilaw na Tuna sa gata. (Tuna Ceviche in coconut milk)

Confusion! Yesterday we were from the Atong Kamalig, close to the ocean and the pier. The area is well-known with a good ambience. We purchased Sizzling Sisig and Sizzling Squid. Sizzling Sisig is really a conventional Filipino dish that is manufactured from chopped pig's head components (e.g.encounter, snout, cheeks, and hearing) and chicken liver, generally served in the sizzling platter garnished with chopped onion, chili pepper, and slices of calamansi fruits. The sizzling squid may be the same style however the major ingredient is squid. The meals was ok, the Sizzling Squid had a good taste nonetheless it was too oily. The Sizzling Sisig was certainly not really what I had anticipated since I had baffled it with Sizzling Pork that is made of cut pork meat, not really chopped pig mind! The Sizzling Sisig included consequently of minimal meat at all, just pieces of fat, epidermis, ears and the snout.

The meals was greasy and the service very unprofessional. The waitress didn't know the menus or what was accessible and we go offered a can with mould onto it. Would not recommend.

Went for supper here and surely got to sit in another of the aircon areas they have. Foods had been alright though a touch too pricey for the helping and the wait has been somewhat sluggish. Two of the eyeglasses on our desk smells weird so we hadto place them aside, they appear to be short-staffed and the servers appear in a disarray. There is absolutely no person assigned for his or her more private rooms...

So once they moved to the brand new location, we went right now there for a team supper. We'd their seafood boodle. It had been good and inexpensive. The new place includes a huge parking region. The only cause I'm offering this a 3 is basically because it tookalmost one hour for them prep the meals.

I am hoping they rebuild as the idea of marinated meats and stuffed squid and basic bbq'd seafood, pork and poultry was great. My partner among others who at there frequently will sorely skip the place. I am hoping they rebuild someplace in the town, as theconcept of purchasing one's food and having them make it to one's very own specs is super.

Evidently the old landlord at the old property close to the city core wished to raise the rent an excessive amount of, and they also just de-constructed the complete site, and made things fresh down Hibbard Avenue earlier Blanco Street within Piapi. Why is it much less goodnow? 1. The new location is just too big inconveniently significantly from the town core. It isn't longer a brief walk or ride from one's function or house if in the town. Accordingly, the staff explained that their lunch business is very slow. 2. The meats, seafood and seafood and salads had been completely display on an extended counter in the outdated location, which managed to get easy for clients to select their food. As it's all within their menu now, needless to say it's standard resto design, and not almost as appealing, at the very least to me. 3. The boneless bangus that I purchased - that I in no way did in the previous location - was good however, not unique. And the garlic rice got hardly any garlic in it. 4. The costs are higher, and for that reason an extra downside factor. On the nice side? Large parties may retreat from the large outdoors seating area to 2 different air-conditioned banquet areas. When I has been there, a party around 15 people collected for a birthday celebration feast, and in a more substantial space about 30 attended a church student occasion. But it isn't nearly as well-known even in the night as it's simply too much out of city and few other dining places are all that near Kamalig. Overall, an unhealthy business choice. Although this location is new and clear, the old location for the tiny group or individual dinner was a lot more attractive. Will I return? No. The elegance of the old location is lost, and today this Atong Kamalig is merely another mediocre seafood eating place that may just attract the well-monied night time chinoy crowd, but several others. Too bad!

Within my last day associated with my short vacation within Dumaguete, my cousin plus I had a lunch time in Atong Kamalig cafe when i was craving for the native Inasal Chicken. The restaurant is at the down town, it's close to the Cathedral. It's spacious, provides availableparking slots and contains available areas for smoking cigarettes and non smoking visitors. We find the non smoking region with AC since it had been humid outside in those days. The atmosphere isn't enticing therefore don't expect a lot of it. We ordered garlic shrimp, chopsuey and Inasal Poultry ofcourse and I spent significantly less than the thousand pesos, best for two people. The appearance of the meals isn't that attractive since it looks dried out and I believe that the purchase price is kinda higher. The flavor isnt as indigenous Inasal as what I'm expecting since I'm within the Negros area but I think I will visit Bacolod to use the legit Inasal Poultry. Waiting period is kinda long therefore my suggestion would be to place buzzers to contact waiters since locations are split into each other. Overall, dining expertise is average therefore I'm offering it a 3 celebrities. Address: Atong Kamalig Eating place, Katada St., Dumaguete Town, Negros Oriental
