Mario and We had dinner yesterday evening with Cucina Ilocana. He previously been to this cafe before with some senior high school classmates but he needed me to sample their Vigan longganiza, that i have been craving for For supper, we ordered pinapaitan, bagnet, pinakbet, andVigan longganiza. I've never stayed within an Ilocano home before but this is a really delicious home-cooked meal. Because it has been a rainy night time, we began with pinapaitan since this soup acquired been a comfort meals to us. It had been so good --- offered lean with goat's liver --- unlike the equally tasty --- but fatty with intestines --- soup I purchase at Marcelo Village. I cherished their bagnet because it was crumbly, gentle, and tasty and offered with tomatoes and bagoong privately. They ready their pinakbet with a lot of tomatoes. The vegetables were new although their ampalaya and talong weren't the tiny "solo" kind one discovers in Ilocos (like Texas, everything is huge in Davao!). And their Vigan longganiza was genuine and delicious! Today I know where you can buy Davao-produced Vigan longganiza. The restaurant was adorned Spartanly, llocano-style. That they had some Ilocano paintings on the wall space and a TV display screen which played a movie on Ilocano foods and scenes. I believe the doors that they had on screen were extracted from Vigan. Ilocano songs --- Pamulinawen, etc ---wafted through the area. They also had bagnet shown on the rack like in the Ilocano marketplaces! We enjoyed our "reasonably" and senior-citizen-priced food of significantly less than P800 which currently included two glasses of rice and two cans of soda. Like small children, we ate a whole lot and nevertheless had a lot of food to collect!

Prices are little great for rice meal 189 increase 20 for calamasi fruit juice. But serving are usually big. Avg charges for dish about 200. Since only 2 folks did t reach try very much. The longanisia is really a bit dried out for me personally but i guessthat will be how its produced. The meals was good. I purchase their edition of dinuguan. I'd keep coming back here again.

I actually swear, the igado here's authentic and keeps real to tradition. It really is rare even yet in Ilocos to get unadulterated igado nowadays. Many thanks, Cucina Ilocana, for maintaining it true. Guys, why don't we support our local dining places!

Never ever thought I'd have to be able to side visit to Ilocos while being within Davao! Been to Ilocos maybe once or twice and their food choices in CUCINA ILOCANA are usually on point. The flavors are familiar or even better than what i recall from whatwe ate in Ilocos. The staff aren't Ilocano however they sure are helpful and polite! Definitely essential try if you are in Davao!

When I wouldn't find out where you can eat, this place in no way fails me. The atmosphere is Homey, the meals is great. Although I haven't gone to Ilocos and tasted their nearby delicacy this place actually amazed me when I very first ate right here. Kudos to thestaff, I continued asking about meals on the menu also to my delight these were in a position to tell me on what each food was ready, its origins, elements and also made comparisons to some other Filipino dishes. Whether you are considering ilocano dishes or simply plain starving, you don't need to look significantly. Cucina Ilocana can fulfill your hunger.
