They say, When in Cebu: Lechon. And yes of course we did haha. We took break from our City Tour and had lunch at Zubuchon. Servers we're friendly and accommodating. The place is simple but clean. They serve peanuts as appetizer that we easily finished because we're hungry lol. For the food, we ordered Lechon (duh) and Adobong Kangkong. I also got Pineapple Mint for drinks (sorry wasn't able to take photo). Let's talk about Adobong Kangkong first. It's tasty but just the typical one. I like that it got chicharon topping to add crunch. And really a nice side dish for lechon. Serving is also huge. We're 3 diners and we weren't able to finish this one haha. For the Lechon, we got the Classic Spicy one. When it was served, my eyes twinkled by the sight of the crispy skin. And blimey it's really crispy not just by looks. Also, tastes really good. The best lechon I had so far. It's nicely seasoned and the promised spice is really there and I really like it. Passed my spicy level preference. 👍🏻 My pineapple and mint drink was also refreshing.Overall, their Lechon was good and must try as well. Will also try their other dishes on my next visit.

Leitão á Bairrada, Cochinillo Asado / LechonPhilippines has gone gourmet with a comeuppance, but is somehow hanging on to its roots and updating favourite dishes with a few foreign influences (like Portuguese& Spanish & etc in the history). Craving for this crispy, crunchy skin on the outside, tender flavourful meat on the inside? Nothing says “momentous party” like a suckling pig cooked in oven, or open fire or grill it over hot coals which has been that way I guessed throughout time and across cultures, and been continue to be drawn to the traditional and customary – and the tasty - super yummmy results. Cooking a whole pig is wonderful culinary development! No serious feast is complete without one.Try the spicy flavour! It's a must!!!We brought how many kilos backed home- flying thousand miles and taste never failed neither became stale.Their shop at the airport is always busy so expect a long queue.

The taste of the food was an average but the portion is small. Their fried rice is too oily as well. Waiter forgot to include include one of our order and they told us we have to wait for another 10 mins because of it. So we ended up just cancelling the order.

Mandatory lechon meal.Zubuchon is one of the best lechon restaurants in Cebu, they already have different branches here in Metro Manila which is awesome. I went there with my sister and we ordered the rice set meal which is Zubuchon and Boneless Zubuchon which is similar to each other, to be honest the taste is pretty the same. The lechon meat is quite salty and tasty at the same time. The skin is so crunchy that you'll be able to hear the crispiness of it everytime you bite into it. We also ordered chicharon which is 'meh' just an okay taste. Service is good.Note: We went there last June 21, 2017 sorry for the late review..

Food was ok. Kind of typical and lechon was overrated; very small portioning for its price. Staff were accommodating. I ordered their sinigang and I loved the broth but then again, their serving size was too small. Also, I don't get the scallops. It was a little bland, I think they relied on the cheese for the flavor but it didn't do much.
