Their prices are okay. Service is fast. The place maybe needs a little renovation. Ramen was tasty with good portions. The clientele was a mixed of Pinoys and foreigners especially Japanese and Korean guests. It means that they find the food authentic. My major observation was the pork that was used for the tonkatsu, it had a smell. It tasted okay, there was just a smell to it.

When I think about Japanese food, it makes me feel clean hahaha maybe I'm just weird but yeah, I have always loved Japanese food. And here I am at Nonki SM.Wasn't really hungry but I wanted to eat "okonomiyaki". I have always loved it. It's not just your typical pancake. You can put everything in it. From pork, squid or octopus, some vegetables and for the love of bacon. Bacon! And then topping it all off with a good slather of kewpie! The katsuoboshi (shaved tuna)was dancing as it entered my mouth. And I think Nonki is one of the very few places who can make okonomiyaki right. Taste is really good, the octopus was tender, the pancake has the right of amount of saltiness into it. Since they don't have Red Horse Beer hehehe I opted to have Asahi super dry it reminds me of our very own San Miguel Super Dry. And oh in the picture that's not water, that's shochu(a traditional Japanese hard liquor) mixed with water. Shochu can be made from either rice or grains. It's simular to vodka. Or maybe I'm a little buzzed from mixing the two hahaha The only thing bad so far is the toilet, it smells (ehem) bad hehehe I think they have a problem with the pipes or something. I hope they get it fixed. So, if you guys are craving for some near-to-authentic Japanese food, this is where you should go. They also have some bento which can fit your budget. So check them out. Until next time. Eat and be happy! For now, Itadakimasu!

I loved Nonki before. I think it was 7 years ago. I thought only Nonki served real authentic Japanese foods in cebu. However, they have changed their taste of foods. I don't know why!!! I hope they will fix the taste like previous one.

Ramen has always been my comfort food and trying a new place tonight excites me. Ordered Shoyu Ramen and unfortunately I was not satisfied. Serving time is slow compared to other Japanese Restaurants, the taste is just like a normal noodle that you can buy in supermarkets and a bit pricey. But it's good though that they've pulled off the Japanese feel inside the restaurant 😊

Good food, good service. This restaurant is just wonderful. Staff are alert and kind as well, which is an added bonus. Never had a bad experience there yet and I hope I won't get to experience one because I like eating there. I love bentos. Food is a bit pricey, but considering that it is a Japanese restaurant, it's nothing new. Kampai!
