Satisfy your halo halo craving with this newest guilty pleasure in the city at Monbis halo halo. Priced at Php 70.00 it comes happiness with it. Although patience is needed when you want to have a taste of this famed halo halo of Tisa , Labangon!

One tiring steaming afternoon after my work,  I decided to take a detour to my monotonous route, I take a longer and unconventional route going home yet it’s the best route I could think of a that moment that led to my eventful discoveries. First,  I found out that heat, noise and idleness to my my surprise is far more effective than a sleeping pills in dozing me off.  Second, Labangon is a foodies haven for local taste.  Third, for a the longest time , Labangon has been synonymous  with its famous Somai sa Tisa.

This food hub is just alog the road. The interior is quiet interesting though. This is recommended bt a friend who lives nearby and we were not disappointed with their halo halo.

Their halo-halo for me is the best in Cebu. No question to that. Their ice was simply far different from other halo-halo stores because they had this certain flavor to their ice. I could tell that the ice itself needs no other toppings like ice cream or cornflakes. A must try if you're seeking for an extraordinary taste of halo-halo 👍

Situated just along Katipunan Street is a refuge for most people this summer. Halo-Halo of Monbis is more of a contemporary dessert. Mostly in the mix are sweets that are close to a kid's heart. With no idea on what their Halo-Halo is like, I was expecting a lot of ingredients mixed in it - the traditional way. I find their Halo-Halo too sweet and I was missing the traditional "Halo-Halo".🍨The place is a work-in-progress and best for stopover. However, parking space will be a challenge for motorists.🚘Monbis is definitely perfect if you are looking for a place where to treat your kids if they crave for sweets; also, if you yourself are a sweet-a-holic.👌🏻

Pro: it is a different kind of a cold and sweet dessert.Con's: if ur looking for the traditional halo-halo where Filipino's are known for, this one's not for u. Service is slow too.

I absolutely loved the concept Monbis has. They are serious in serving only one product, and that's their signature halo-halo. Personally, I believe it's a modern, no-fuss take on our usual Filipino halo-halo. I also think it's perfect that they only serve one product. This means they can really perfect their ingredients and service. If you're a traditionalist and prefer the original version of our halo-halo then you'll be disappointed here. Their signature halo-halo is 75pesos per serving. They have their own signature shaved ice with a sort of strawberry cream flavor to it. On top of that they added choco chips, banana slices, crushed graham, frozen coconut strips, chocolate syrup.Their service is ok, which I understand still has its Cebuano vibe into it. When you're here at the southern part of Cebu, particulary Labangon, then you can't expect an all posh and preppy ambiance.Would come back to quench the cravings.

I'm not a fan of their halo halo. For me, it's too sweet. But their halo halo looks so cute. And alsoooo the waiting time's very long. It took us almost an hour of waiting.

By the time I got to eat, I was overwhelmed that it tasted so good, it felt like Christmas. I was smiling all over. I looked over to my friends and got the same reaction. One of them even giggled, maybe because of sugar rush. But we're all happy. Our sweet cravings were satisfied. It was worth the wait. ✨Pros:- DELICIOUS HALO - HALO- AFFORDABLE PRICE- costumers' waiting time, has improved for the better. no more waiting while standing up in a long line, then hurrying for vacant seats. (sweet!)✨Cons:- opens only in the evening- sometimes closed without noticefun fact: Aside from being the Siomai Capital, Labangon is also called, "the Halo - Halo Capital of Cebu".I'm taking my time in trying other halo-halo shops in Tisa, but this one, I know, is The Best!
