We celebrated the end of our tour in Cebu by feasting at Lantaw and everything tasted good! The seafoods are fresh, they serve lavish amount of rice cause we thought it wouldn’t be enough for us. Overall it’s a two thumbs up for me!

Live band on Sunday night! I come to this place if I want to have Filipino food and outdoor seating few years back. Ordered the usual, baked scallops, sisig, and I think they’ve lost their touch on the scallop. Also, the chairs are lounge chairs which are not THAT comfortable for dining. There are only a few wooden dining set. It really looks uncomfortable especially for customers with long legs.

Do not eat in lantaw when it is Holiday Season. Clearly tinipid nila lahat ang serving. The Crispy Pata was not even hot, it was pre-made I guess. And it is 700 pesos but it looks like a carenderia made food. The place were understaffed. They even told me they don't have service water. The waiter/waitress did their very best but I guess the bad service, bad food and small serving is due to the management. Step up your game or else no one will ever eat again in your restaurant.

Food was average, not good not bad but why I would give it a below average score is the value for the money which was pretty much nonexistent. I had an appetizer, main course, garlic rice and a SanMig and it cost me more than a dinner at Vikings where I could have stuffed my face on shrimp tempura, sashimi, and unlimited SanMig drafts or Heineken bottles for less. Don't waste your money on the Calamares which were like the stuff I might get back in the US at TGIF or Applebee's in other words like what you get out of the frozen food section at a supermarket. Now that I feel I got my money's worth ...

Lantaw is known to elevate Filipino dishes, set at impressive locations. We dined at their SRP branch in Cebu, which had no walls and massive wind force. Facing the wide sea, a refreshing sight will calm you and the hard breeze will up your appetite. Variants of wooden materials speak of Lantaw's mission to bring local cuisine to spotlight.
