The place is okay. The ambiance is good. The staff doesn't seem accommodating though. Their drinks are okay. All in all it was an okay experience but could have been better.

When it comes to desserts in Cebu City, the name La Marea is a constant recommendation. So before heading to the airport for our flight back to Manila, we made a quick stop at this joint to see what they had to offer.

La Marea is a fame cafe in Cebu known for their warm brownie cups.In this particular branch, i tried one of their cakes. Forgot the name, but you can see how it is in the photo. It's very thick and chocolatey, and you can share it if you've had a heavy meal prior to dessert. Each layer has its own distinct taste. Taste in general is just okay for the price.Ambience is nice, but temperature is hot on the second floor. Servers are polite and patient. Comfort room is available and just right in size.

We went to La Marea for dessert and tried their classic warm brownie cup, classic cheesecake and triple chocolate cheesecake. The brownie cup was good. I like the combination of the icecream and the warm brownie. The brownie was a bit too sweet for my liking though. Both cheesecakes were good as well and the serving size was good for two.
