Yes, for this place I gave it a rating of 1. Why? Mainly for the following reasons.First, we tried to call a waiter or waitress politely. The one who was standing near the entrance told us to: "Just wait." And that was said in a very undesirable tone. So, being someone who has worked in the food business, I calmly replied that it's okay. 10 minutes past and the waiter was there. So we told the waiter what we wanted. One of my friends was not yet done ordering when the waiter, vanished. Then teleported to the other table to take their orders. Wow! Then he came back to our table while we waited for 5 minutes.Second, So the food arrived. 35 minutes late. There weren't too many people dining during that time, because I was scouting the area. The waiter told us that they really made the food well. Here comes the grilled scallops. Cold as the heart of the one who served it. We asked him why the scallops were already cold. He simply walked away. Maybe he has trust issues. The food we had was not photo worthy. The crispy pata was okay, nothing special or anything worth remembering. The crispy kangkong should be named soggy kangkong because that was what we had. If only I could throw back into the ocean the squid in the "grilled squid" we ordered, I could have saved its life. It was tough! I felt like I was eating my shoe (not that I ever tried eating my shoe). It was just difficult to bite into it. The pancit canton was the worst! Do they even know how to cook it? I mean we're not vegetarians, but it was mainly filled with carrots, red bell peppers, a few strips of cabbage and approximately 13 diced pork fats, 5 diced pork meat. And the orders came one after the other.Next, let's move on to the drinks. We were done eating when our drinks came in. Imagine that. We were very annoyed as we kept reminding the waiters about the drinks. Luckily, no one died of choking or dehydration because of this. And lastly, amidst all of the bad experience we had comes the time when we all must move on and ask for the bill. It came around only after 2 minutes. I'll give then another "WOW" for that. They are faster than the speed of lightWe're not perfect. We can't be perfect but we can try to do better. As for the staff there, if you are in a bad mood or tired of your job, just breathe. We all get bad days sometimes, don't let it affect you. Maybe, I'll give this place a better review next time. Who knows, they might get a 5. And with this, I shall end my review. Eat and be happy!

Most of their food is quite good but only lacks consistency. One time I'm having a lunch at SM Cebu branch, the food there are very fresh and serves great flavor. But in  SM Consolacion, it's different. I wonder why?

FOOD IS GREAT. The food was delightful. I love how unique their Crispy pata is. Their halu-halo is also unique because of the shaved ice. The mongo soup was delicious too. I like how crispy their calamares is and the sisig, ugh. I love their sisig. Will definitely come back for more.

We ordered the LumpiaFrito, Pancit Canton and Sinigang na Baboy. And then we had a platter of r8ce and a pitcher of iced tea. I had no time taking a photo of it because we're so damn hungry. But here's a photo of my companions waiting for our food LOLPlace - 8/10 - clean. Maybe because it was too early for the place to be jam packed with customers.Staff - 7/10 - friendly, abrupt but not attentive. They forgot to charge the bottled mineral water I ordered. So I had to inform an employee about it.Food - so I have to rate this by order.Sinigang na Baboy is a 6/10 - same sinigang na baboy in every resto. I dunno about you guys but I taste the sinigang powder. Tastes like the free soup Mang Inasal offers.Pancit Canton is a 7/10 - mehhhLumpiaFrito is a 3/10 - trust me. I LOVE LUMPIA. Love it love it will marry it. I order it any resto as long as they have it on their menu. Now, will I eat here again? Probably. But I will not order their lumpia and will try their other dishes. There are a lot of Pinoy restos better than Kuya J and have much better lumpia.

Same with the branch in Escario but service took a little longer than usual. Short on staff but those that were present were exceptional. The Halo Halo was good but not the type that would make you want it again.
