Perfect place for Native restaurant in Cebu. Lechon Kawali, Scallops, Grilled squid - the best in town. Unlimited rice is a must. Don't be confused with Bulalo and Pochero, they have different interpretations.

I love it here! I'm so happy that Kuya J opened in Ayala Cebu because I can have their crispy pata whenever i get a sudden craving for it (since I work along Ayala Business Park). I thought they have one of the best crispy pata in town. What I like about this branch is that our orders were served all at the same time. The ambiance is refreshing and the place is well lit, you get wonderful family lunch pictures effortlessly. Apart from crispy pata, I also love their palabok and sinigang na Bangus. I will recommend this branch to my visiting friends for sure. Kuya J has become my new pinoy restaurant favorite. They'll surely be seeing more of me in the coming months. #burp

Crispy pata (see photo below) , sinuglaw (fish sashimi mixed with griiled pork), fried chicken, mongos (see the photo below).. These are only some of the many Filipino dishes at Kuya J's restaurant. If you want a taste of authentic Filipino food, i highly recommend this place. They are located at the terraces of the Ayala center Cebu. Be ready to wait in line because a lot of people are going to this place especially at dinner time. Crispy pata is one of their best sellers and its definitely a must try!

Classic Filipino dishes with an authentic Cebuano twist. Love the family style serving and it's fast. Price points are very affordable and service is great

The food was okay. Serving size was good enough but taste was just average. Their service was impressive though. The staff are really attentive and food was served really quickly even though the resto was almost full during that time. Big turn off was they served us service water and the glasses had lipstick stains on them. Good thing we noticed the stains even before drinking the water because that would have been disgusting.

Kuya J is one of the restaurants where you can enjoy Filipino dishes at a reasonable price. The fact that it’s owned by my forever crush, Jericho Rosales, makes me want to visit it everytime. The food is so good, you can order a lot of viands and pay less than 1k for 4 people already. Plus they serve desserts that will blow your mind. I really love their halo-halo! It’s a must try! The ambiance will also give you a “feel at home” feeling. I love that they placed books within your reach so you can read while waiting for your food to be served. Customer service is also five star. I reccomment visiting this branch.

Not a very enjoyable visit, food is mediocre at best, as it was late, near closing time, the staff was desperate to get rid off us, why open if you don't want guests ?Who wants to eat at a place with waiters starting to sweep and clean ?

We been 3x in that restaurant, every time we spent our lunch in Kuya J, ordering a food it takes time, and they don’t serve it together , they serve it one by one and it takes time to follow the other dishes, the food get’s cold while waiting for the rest, I remember one staff who also serve a food to other customers he scratched his head and pick his nose, ( tall skinny dark) it seems he think that no one is watching him.Staffs are not cleaning the table like empty plates that’s obviously empty, which would be nice to make a space to the table.Staff sometimes make a group and noise in the counter.I don’t see any managers around the restaurant.I think 3x visit is enough for me as there’s no changes happened, and we decide just to try other food establishments and the services that we expected. To the management of Kuya J Ayala terrace branch , please pay attention to the missing piece that affects in big pictures. Cheers,Janet
