Had great dinner with my colleagues here. 👍🏼I prefer streamed crabs than the spicy flavored one. The fried fish was so tender and fresh. I love the ambience and the staff are very attentive. 👍🏼

It's no secret that the Philippines is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Cebu on the other hand has surged since the early 2000s. What makes Cebu so unique is it has become a melting pot of different cultures and tourism opportunities. But what makes tourists remember Cebu? The Seafood will always be the first thing that pops into their minds when they talk about Cebuano cuisine. Isla Sugbo Seafood City is the most ideal place for all things seafood in Cebu city in particular. The Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - What could go wrong with fresh seafood? The only thing that could go wrong is having your seafood prepared poorly be it too salty or too sweet which is the most commonly used taste buds of the Filipino. But overall it's a palatable experience. The Place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - What's really interesting about Isla Sugbo Seafood City is that before you reach the counter you have to queue up through plenty of aquariums and iced counter tops while "shopping" your preferred seafood or meats. The notion of "from sea to table" is just a brilliant experience. The Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - There is always something that would setback such a marvelous place. Most of the dining associates would have the tendency to ignore certain tables because it's not part of their area or scope. This is what's hindering most restaurants here in the Philippines. I'm not saying it's everybody, but sometimes you do find those who are genuine with their service. The Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Seafood is rarely an inexpensive commodity, but due to Cebu being a great focal point of bountiful seafood they are able to provide it at a fairly reasonable price. There was also a "Paluto-All-You-Can" promo that was inexpensive and that cemented the the notion that Cebu really does have a bountiful harvest of the sea.

The place is situated inside Grand Convention. We were suppose to dine in Grand Majestic which is an eat-all-you-can as well, but it was not operating at the moment. So we decided to give a try the food place across it. Isla Sugbo Seafood City is a paluto-all-you-can, you choose your the food and how you like it to be cooked then they cook it for you and serve it at your table. They have this counter with aquariums, inside were catfish, oysters, lobsters and crabs. They have fishes and meats place on top of an ice as well. The place was built for family gatherings or big groups because there were lots of long tables. The food was good, they cook it the way you like it. It was worth the price. Though the lobster, catfish and big crabs aren’t included in the payment. It was still good. My personal favorite is the garlic buttered shrimps. The staffs were ok. Our server was very patient. He made sure that we have fresh plates every now and then.

The food is fine. The paluto style is their strength because its fresh but i think its gonna be their weakness too. From just choosing your fresh items it will take a lot of time because its an absolutely chaotic, no proper line up and It’s not organized. Second. I know it needs to be cooked and there is a line also on what food will be cook first. But the waiting time is still too long. And addition to that, the scallops are too buttery and it’s bland. The baked oysters is overcooked because it’s not juicy. And I told the staff that we will have 10pcs of oysters but rather than that they gave us only 8 pcs. Yet we don’t complain due that it might take to long for us to wait again for the 2pcs. I’m giving 3stars because of the staff. Because if it is not for them i will just give 2stars. Staff our absolutely fantastic. They are apologetic for the food that is taking an eternity inside the kitchen. They are attentive and friendly. I will still going to give the restaurant a second chance but i hope they will do better. I want them to prosper because the style of paluto and freshness in food is really unique.

Came here on a thursday and its true you have to be early because they run out of certain food. Drinks are not included in their buffet so be warned but their shakes are pretty good, their soft drinks and san mig beer cost 80 pesos per can/bottle, shakes are 120 👍🏼 They have a lot of waiters so service is not a problem at all but I did notice that drinks gets served too long, don’t know why. If you’re looking for unli seafood, this is not a bad place to be. A lot of tourists eat here too so it gets pretty full on peak hours.

Soooo fresh seafoods best enjoyed with new found friends. Order all you can eat over and over, for the reasonable price of 725.00, just make sure there ain’t left overs or you’ll be charged 1,450!

Everything we ate was fresh, all were quite good.We ate as a big group and somebody did the ordering for us but the dishes we enjoyed most were the adobong pusit, scallops with vegetables, deep fried flounder fish and grilled pork. The adobong pusit and scallops had good flavor. The flounder fish tasted good. The grilled pork was tender. Also notable is the shrimp which was cooked just right. Peeling off the shell was painless. Rice wasn’t great though - it was dry. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Fresh Seafood, cooked and served just in time wide array of seafood choices! What i love is their Tempura, Kinilaw na Tanigue and Shrimp and they Scallops! Worth the money esp now that their promo is still on going. But what i would want to commend is the service of one of their staff Mark, shown in the photos. He’s the best! Strong customer service attitude! Keep it up and put him on your employee of the year list!

WOW! Probably, the best seafood restaurant I have ever been at. They serve the biggest crabs you could ever see and cook them just right for you to drool on. Their shrimps are something you would definitely wouldn't want to miss. Visit their restaurant for a more satisfying tasty experience!
