A big hit, especially to us Filipinos. Being rice lovers, and 'lutong-bahay' advocates, this definitely is best for people like us. Their food was very savoury, not overpowering and just the right amount. What lacked however, is more seats, more viand/ulam and probably bigger servings of their existing viands. Overall, it was quite a great website experience.

I'm not really a fan of paella but Hala Paella made their dishes easy on the palate even for those who are not used to eating paella. Their churros is okay, but nothing much to brag about. Their place is as cute as ever. It's a typical hole in the wall type of shop but they managed to maximize their area and it was very effective. Their exterior is very photogenic, you get to feel like you're at at countryside diner having a hood meal.

It was a great experience, I highly recommend paella negra. We went there early afternoon so we have the place all to ourselves. Will be back.
