Okay I read all the great reviews and so my wife and I ventured out to the Cebu Marriot business park area for a treat on our last night in Cebu. We had the buffet. Beef, dry and overcooked. Salmon dry. SquidRubbery and inedible. We each had a small bottle of water. Cost: 280p I had a double Bacardi and they charged me for 2 drinks. Wife had a margarita and our bill came back at 4500+ pesos. This is the most expensive "buffet" that I have ever had and I have had many. The food was not outstanding and even the dessert bar was average. The staff was courteous but led us on....Would you like water sir? 280p later we got water. That sort of thing. They must have sent them to NYC to study duplicity. I felt compelled to review because I find that so many reviews on line are a hoax. Such is the case with the Marriot dinner buffet. Go there by all means if you want to eat hotel. food at gourmet prices.

I've stayed at Marriott Hotel for like, tons of times now but haven't tried their buffet yet (even their breakfast buffet because lol I prefer to sleep in most of the time - which is just dang ridiculous. Anyway, last night I finally had the chance to eat here!The dinner buffet was, to be frank, pretty bare. There weren't much food to choose from and that did disappoint me somewhat. The only thing I liked was there was their pasta station - lol I had 2 bolognese pastas and 1 carbonara. Yum. The only highlight of my dinner. Also, the cheese I liked from their cheese selection was their brie cheese - it was delish!Ambiance was nice, servers were very attentive which is a good thing. Also, pepsi products are part of their buffet. Didn't get to try their dessert as I was already full when I finished gorging on pasta.
