This place never gets old! Their food is always perfectly cooked and I can say so because every single time I've been here, I'm happy with whatever I order. My all time favorites are their salad starter and egg salad sandwich. For the drinks, it would be the mint lemonade. It's awesome how they add salad to some of their meals which would satisfy anyone's appetite. The service is good and the ambiance is great. Been coming here since I was a kid and it's still one of my favorite places to dine in! Their pastries, meals, pasta, drinks, and coffee are all a must try.

Where would we be without French food and drinks? From Brioche to Baguettes, Croissants to Croque Monsieur's and Champagne to Chasseur, that's only just a small selection of the B's and C's that France has brought us! With over 30 branches (please be aware that not all menu choices will be available in all Filipino outlets) The French Baker is growing fast and furiously in the region. As a tourist, besides the wonderful Filipino food to delve into, its great to see a place such as this. Its a very roomy restaurant, with good service, and many choices. There are many different types of pasta, with delicious garlic bread making a regular appearance in everything from Lasagne to Carbonara. The vegetables in some of the dishes we have are canned, however, which was a bit of a downgrade on things. Its convenient food, with everything from starters (look out for the rather fanciful soup of a day in a bread roll) to sandwiches (although surprisingly, no Croque Monsieur!), mains, deserts, pastries, crepes and range of hot and cold drinks. Of course, lets not forget the wine, either (merlot or chardonnay!)Choice is exceptional - a new Flame Grilled Angus for the burger lovers, a Beef Burgundy in Casserole for those following the French cuisine and a few Filipino leaning dishes such as the Hamburger Steak and the Grilled Chicken and Mango Salsa.Elsewhere, there's an Oreo Cheesecake to keep the curious sweet toothers happy, and its nice to see (as there are plenty of mega mangoes in the Philippines) mangoes featuring in crepes, ice cream and ice cold drinks. Admittedly, while this is a place I would encourage you to visit as there are many nice things, some things are hit and miss (e.g. the canned veg, the lasagne, and the fact the 'chips' with sandwiches are not fries.) As the chain grows, however, this is sure to be 'one to watch' for the future - viva la France (and the Philippines!)

So one time, my family decided to have our lunch at The French Baker. I did a little research about the company and have found out that The French Baker has already celebrated its 25th Anniversary last year. They have been around for quite sometime and have served delicious and healthy bread, and good food, to all Filipinos for a quarter of a century. For more of my review, visit my blog:   idress-upandeat.blogspot.com

I had my first try at French Baker last week. I fell in love with the chicken croissant sandwich. It was so light and flavorful. The fish and chips was amazing. The fish had a distinct flavor to it that makes you want to eat more. Though its a letdown they only have a few pcs of it but still it was amazing. The mint lemonade is also refreshing. You can actually feel he mint. My kid also tried there hot chocolate and she loved it. Would definitely come back again.

I super love their steaaaak. The sauce is delicious. The staff is not so accomodating. My boyfriend bought the bread with a soup inside it. It. Was. A. Struggle. It's a struggle to eat. But my boyfriend said it's delicious. Will I go back? Yes.
