Radisson Blu was not the only buffet restaurant we ever tried, so I couldn't say we're still "naive" when it comes to eating at buffets. As a food and travel blogger, the first few things I notice are the :1) Environment (Were we comfortable the entire time?)2) Customer service (Was the staff polite, attentive, uptight, intimidating, nosy, annoying, etc. ?)3) Sanitation (Were the food and drinks served clean, fresh or new?)---Everything else is a choice between a "Yes" or "No" :4) Can we afford it?5) Can we travel that far?6) Are we willing to wait for 15 minutes or so?7) Is it worth spending on?8) Was the food served hot?9) Was it delicious?10) Are we coming back?Eating at Feria was great. It was so spontaneous. The concierge assisted us to our seats. Before we finished our meals, one of the employees asked if their food and service was okay. So I said, "Yes, it was!" and then paid our bill. Before we decided to leave, we took a quick tour of the hotel just to make the most out of our time there. Unfortunately, we took "the wrong turn". On the corner, around 3-4 hallway guards stopped us from entering God-knows-what was after that long hallway. Okay, okay... I understand there are "rules" everywhere. So, we did not insist on going farther from where we were standing. What I did not understand was the fact that those guards did not clarify to us that, "Sir/Mam, ANYTHING except the food inside the buffet restaurant cannot be captured on camera." So, I was left thinking that it was okay to resume taking photos at the lobby, because who does not take photos or selfies these days? You can even find people taking selfies inside a smelly public restroom such as bus terminals or gasoline stations, let alone in a well-maintained hotel such as Radisson Blu. Lol.Now, on our way to the lobby (away from the restricted hallway), another set of 3-4 (maybe more) guards escorted us outside of the hotel, while one of them was talking to the hallway guards on the radio as if we were armed or, something. Then, I had to defend myself by repeatedly saying, "I'm sorry. I mean no harm. I'm a food and travel blogger. I film everywhere." Lol. It was really an intimidating and shameful experience! Are we coming back? Well, only if it's "Free hotel accommodation". Lol. Kidding aside, the guards did a great job in securing the hotel and its customers, but I just thought that they should have focused more on "suspicious" people (not us).  I'll just have to blame this experience on being "Friday the 13th".Check out my YouTube Channel to watch my vlogs on Feria and Radisson Blu.You can quickly search for us on YouTube, website or Google by typing...#bingeeatersBinge Eaters #bingeeatersBinge "#bingeeaters" E.@bingeeaters.youtubeThe title of the video is..."Like A Buffet, You Cannot Have Everything At The Same Time | Binge Eaters"Video: youtu.be/aP0ZiYmFls8

Food was great! The food choices in Feria was varied, which is good. But unfortunately extra orders such as soft drinks took too long to be served, and order for coffee was done 4x before it was delivered. I would like to commend one of their staff named Michael, who was the only person able to deliver our orders.

I enjoy visiting here every TTH where they provide a half-priced buffet with a lot of food to choose from!😊 My wife really liked their salad station where you get to create your own salad. They provide a range of Mediterranean, Chinese, Italian, Japanese & Filipino dishes to choose from. Not to mention their pastries & desserts station. Hehe..😁 Whenever I visit here, it would be paella or mexican rice, anything curry, grilled meats, sweet Chinese pork & stir fried noodles top with camias juice & lots of ice cream! Haha!😅

Ambiance: Considering this is a 5 star hotel, dining ambiance is good, elegant for that matter.Food: Wide variety from continental, Mediterranean, Asian and many more. Desserts looks nice but nothing fancy when it comes to the taste.Service: Great! They always make sure that no plate is left empty on the food counters. Refills are on time. Staffs are also attentive to dish out empty dishes from the guests's table.Price: Even though we availed their 50% discount on MThS, I still find it too pricey as drinks are not yet included on the price. Other buffet restaurants could offer the same ambiance and food variations but in lesser price. Well then, maybe you are paying for the fact that you're dining in a 5 star hotel, and their service is great.

Feria is truly an ideal place to relish any meal of the day and being among the top buffet restaurants in Cebu, the restaurant recently launched Themed Dinners at Feria. The themed dinners offers an array of unique and delectable international dishes that will surely bring spice and excitement to your dining experience. Still, the usual offering are offered and served at the buffet restaurant.

Went there on a Thursday to avail their 50% discount. As of writing, this is the best buffet in Cebu for me because it offers an array of Vegan foods, variety of sweets and desserts, and sumptuous main dishes of different cuisines. My officemates enjoyed the seafoods.

Feria offers a wide variety of delectable food. I've been to their breakfast and dinner buffets and i am satisfied with their service and food selection. They're vegetarian-friendly; they offer juice and coffee as part of the buffet; and they offer 50% off at Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Make sure you get a reservation ahead of time for these days. Their japanese table is always refilled, and i don't have to worry about the absence of sashimi. Their maki selection is well-made, the flavors blending well with each other and not prepared for the sake of simply having a maki presented to the public. Their italian table is good. They make good pasta and good pizza with an average crust, but the paella is quite bland. The indian table is great. They make the roti fresh. The dimsum table is abundant with food and i commend the taste of their hakaw. You can tell that it is cooked fresh. Other food tables are also good. Many buffet restaurants take the dessert table for granted but not Feria. Their dessert selection is actually quite tasty save for the little creme puff pastry. The filling should have been custard cream rather than just simply cream. I like that they serve actual classic cakes rather than those mousse-types of cake to fill the display. Ambiance of the place is good, with great space management. All in all i give Feria a 4.5.

Came for dinner after coming back from Oslob to see the whale sharks and was pleasantly surprised we were able to go in for dinner with togs. There were plenty of options that seemed to cross various countries, from Europe to Asia. There were a few interesting stations particularly the grill, the seafood stir fry and the desserts area. The food was ok. Some were really nice like the grilled salmon wing and the prawn soup for the ramen but others were a bit disappointing like the spongy crepe and dry turkey. It was nice overall and the plates were cleared fairly quickly most of the time.

What we love about Cebu is the abundance of fresh food. Fruits and seafood are favourites, and Feria is able to deliver a solid selection. We love the mango smoothie they serve at the breakfast buffet. They have fresh juices included in the basic buffet as well, which are not usually included in Manila hotel buffets. As with most buffets, we were unable to sample everything, but what we did try was quite good. We love that the fruit was delicious and sweet! Great bang for buck, with the lunch buffet costing under 1000.
