Came here for dinner to check it out. The decor inside is nice. Food is ok. The beet ravioli is too sweet. Since beets are sweet enough, the stuffing should be salty to offset each other.

Had the Lamb Shank and US Beef Seared Beef. Perfectly cooked! The ambiance was great, too. You can't help it but stay for a little more dessert.

My friends and I went there last week for dinner and it was quite a disappointment. While the interiors are actually quite nice and the whole set-up is pretty nice, their service leaves a lot to be desired. Because were seated by the high table, we were covered by their wine selection wall. We were not visible by the waiters who stood behind the wall close to the cash register. It took forever to catch their attention. Food was okay. Nothing really special. However, I do wish to note that service takes forever. It took ages before they served our meals. While I do understand slow cooked meals, it was a bit frustrating to have our meals served one by one. Funny thing: my sandwich was served last. And to think a sandwich was pretty easy to prepare (and that alone took forever). Word of advise: don't come here when you are hungry. It might be a while before you get your food.

Place looks really nice but thats just about it. Very pricey for the taste and preparation. Note that the prices on the menu do not reflect service charge and taxes, which adds up to the disappointment. Had I known that there is a service charge, I wouldn't even go in, waitresses are just talking and kitchen staff looks like they wanted to be somewhere else. I ordered the Mambo 53 blend and I got a watered down mango shake, no hint of coconut or cinnamon as based on the menu description. You are better off having Thirsty. And the Tuna Overload sandwich is a major disappointment - bland, i couldn't taste the tuna, and, the bread used can be compared to your 5 pesos local bakeshop bread. Btw, I did have my shake for to go and they used cheap plastic cups.

Food was terrible and took forever to come out in the first place. The service was not great. The ambiance is nice which is a shame as everything else was just so lackluster.

The place is really quiet. When i went there, i think it was around 10:30am on a weekday, there were not much people. They have a second floor which could be used for meetings. You get the price you pay for and the food was not that bad. I love their ice cream selection (i love ice cream actually)

I came here by accident while searching for a place to study out. The place was quiet and the staff were very friendly. The wifi was very fast too. I availed of their daily promo of 'buy 1 cake slice get free coffee' from 3pm to 6pm. Their ube cake was delicious and the coffee was good. They had good presentation but I thought their serving sizes for their food and drinks were small compared to the price. Maybe its because primarily its a fancy winery. Overall I really like the place and I wish people would try this place out.

Lechon sisig is a must-try. Great interiors, friendly staff. Some food in the menu are a hit-or-miss. Wish they had a sommelier or a staff trained in basic wine tasting at least. The place is ideal for small meetings or get-togethers.

To be frank, I come to District on 53rd for the craft beers. District on 53rd is more of a wine place; you can immediately see the racks of wine as you walk into the place. I cannot vouch for the wine, but I can for the craft beers. Please note that though I love to guzzle craft beers I am no master of their many distinctions; my descriptions and labels are applied loosely. District on 53rd has two on tap: Pale ale and a dark dubbel. They have bottles from Crazy Carabao: Tarsier Wheat Beer, Kalinga, and Exit Wounds IPA. The ales on tap have too much head as it exits the tap, the staff have to scoop out the foam as they slowly fill your glass; you have to wait. If they come from fresh barrels they are delicious. The bottles are good as well. I was surprised that I found the IPA quaffable; I am usually overwhelmed by the hops.If I remember right these beers are under P200. These beers usually run out. There were a few times when I visited they would not have the beers I want. Again, to be fair, wine is their main drink offering.I am not impressed by the food. I ordered nachos, the chips and the chopped tomatoes were stale. French fries arrived after a long wait; they were few, lukewarm, and limp; I had the impression that they were someone’s leftovers. I tried nachos with a selection of dips, they were not memorable and again the chips were stale. They have other interesting dishes that I dared not try because they are expensive; if they cannot do french fries right, I have good reason to worry for the lamb. They do not seem to have a chef around who cares enough to come over to assure a P500 dish is done right. As for service, I usually visit when there are hardly any other customers, if any; yet it takes an effort for me to catch the staff’s attentions.

The ambiance is really nice although the chairs weren't that comfy. We came here for their gelato and it really tastes great! I'll be coming back for their gelato and definitely gonna try other food that they serve.
