The first time I ever tasted Cebu lechon (roasted pig) was a decade ago, and it was CNT Lechon. I got used to the taste of it and until now, I enjoy their version of lechon. Cebu lechon is salty compared to other regional lechon flavors. They put herbs and spices inside the lechon.

Right after Rico's, I had the need to taste CNT once more to prove to myself this is still my favorite Cebu Lechon ever. They only had cold and left-over-type of lechon since the new batch won't be available atleast after 30mins. So I thought yeah sure whatever might as well order now while the taste of Rico's still fresh. Disappointed. Flavour isn't as delectable as before, or probably because I just tasted something better. Meat was hard to chew. I can't say I won't eat at CNT again, but sure as hell I will go back to Rico's as my first stop when I visit Cebu.

All hail to the king of all pinoy faves, lechon. CNT's lechon for me is the best tasting traditional lehon in Cebu. It's not too salty and the meat is tender (like the pig they cook are not the matured ones). Crispy skin and juicy meat, their lechon has it all. They have dinuguan in the morning but if you want to try that, you got to hurry because it sells out easily. By noon, theur dinuguan is long gone.

I enjoyed CnTechon more than Zubuchon. THAT'S something. I hated that the puso weren't newly cooked (undercooked, even). But in general, the lechon meat was tasty and the skin was crispy. Loved it.

Nothing beats the original Cebu lechon. Crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. I like to eat it when I want no frills classic lechon for dinner. :)
