One of our go-to restos. I'm always assured of having a good meal when in Chikaan. Great food, great service, homey ambiance at a reasonable price. No problem on the parking. You can even book the second floor for private events.Chorizo de Cebu. Clam Soup. Grilled Chicken. Salted Egg Salad. Lechon Kawali. And unli rice. I definitely recommend these dishes. The drink with the pinipig thing disappointed, but don't be discouraged.

1. Atmosphere/ Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️A big old house turned into a restaurant. If you are staying downstairs its ok but if you're upstairs, you can feel the floor shake when a group/ a big person walks by. 2. Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️I would have to give this a 2 because when we arrived there were tables that were not cleaned thinking that they were busy but the tables stayed liked that even after we ate. There was even a long table of around 20pax that the staff only got the fried left overs and left the entire table uncleaned. 3. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The staff was easy to talk to. Though when we arrived they situated us in a table were they left their big tray. Since all tables wete filled, we left it there and when they served the water that's the time that they actually got it.4. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Filipino food is one of my favorite cuisine and this resto served pretty good Filipino food with servings good for sharing.5. Accessibility of the resto: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Right beside the main road in Lahug. Most of the Lahug jeepney routes passes by this resto.

The food was good, however, their service was appalling. 😠😡I highly discourage people to go here. 👎We went to this place to celebrate my mum's bday. We brought cake with us and gave it to the staff to place in the fridge for the meantime whilst we're having dinner. I politely asked one of the staffs if they could serenade my mum or sing a happy bday song upon bringing the cake to our table, the staff nodded and told me, 'okay ma'am, ingna lang nya me.' I smiled and thank her. So, after I finish eating I immediately went to the counter and asked the same staff if they could bring the cake and sing the happy bday song. However, that same staff asked me, 'aw magpa kanta paka ma'am?' as if we didn't had an agreement earlier! So, I just simply smiled at her and told her - yes, please. She responded to me saying, 'Ok ma'am, e serve na namo ron.' We waited for 10mins but there were no any shadows of staffs appeared on our table. To my dismay, I went to the counter and asked the other staff if they could just give the cake back to us and the total bill so we could pay it and go home (NOTE: There were only a few customers left in the area. They were no longer busy at that time also). They immediately went back to me handing over the bill. I then gave it back to the staff with our payments. Another 10mins was wasted, nobody has got back to us to give the change. I was already pissed off, so I approached the lady at the counter and asked for the change. You wouldn't believe what happened. The cashier let our bill(w/payments) sit in front of her and did not bother processing our payments. If I didn't approached her can you imagine how many minutes will be wasted again? She took immediate action in processing the payments and giving me the change after that.

Excellent-just a lovely place with good service. I love the location with adequate parking. All the dishes we ordered were spot on good. Well done this outlet. Definitely will come back.

Chikaan is known for good pinoy food. There is really nothing much that puts them apart from the other Filipino restaurants in Cebu. But you can be assured that every time you dine at Chikaan, you will get exactly what you came for - a satisfied belly. Their branch in Lahug may be the biggest, and I strongly suggest you bring your balik-bayan friends and family here because the place is an epitome of a classic Filipino restaurant.

I always love eating filipino foods and it's a place to be! I tell you! There are bunch of choices which can really satisfy your tummy and cravings but when it comes to dessert like leche flan, it's a bit small and not a match to the price but it tastes good anyhow... That's fine but would love to suggest that they would serve big desserts that would really give full pack to everyone's appetite! Anyhow, I so love the place, the ambiance, the space, the color, the foods, the drinks and everything!
