I love the whole concept of Camden being a cafe when you enter but a hidden bar in the second floor! It's one of the places I was able to visit and can certainly be qualified as one of Cebu's hidden gems.Even though Camden is known for it's breakfast menu, my friends and I dropped by for dinner. We had a hard time finding it though, and in the words of my friend, "The open sign was bigger than the name of the cafe itself," but I guess that's so it doesn't attract such a huge crowd as the place is a bit small. Still, the place was so aesthetically pleasing, with the cafe and bar looking very clean with its minimalistic theme and the huge white "Camden" sign and the famous red "Karma" sign upstairs that make for very good Instagram-worthy pictures.Just our luck, the cafe was occupied as someone was holding a birthday dinner (which is a heads up, this is a very good place to have a private birthday dinner!), so the waiter allowed us to take our food up to the bar, where we got very good seats. We got two orders of Bacon and Eggs with toast on the side (you have a choice of toast or rice, but if you want rice, you have to explicitly tell them as toast is the default choice. we didn't and ended up having to order extra rice, but it was all good) and Aglio Olio and Carbonara (their menu has expanded to include pasta now), with Lemonade, Orange and Calamansi drinks. The prices were reasonable to me, considering I got a hefty serving of bacon (fried perfectly!) and two sunny-side up eggs when I thought I was only going to be served one. They put a bit of chili powder on the eggs too, and serve them with tomato sauce. The two pastas we ordered were good too, the carbonara was creamy enough and was my personal favorite, and the oil of the aglio olio was so good, my friend asked for rice to eat with the leftover oil.I hope Camden remains a hidden gem though! There's beauty in coming to a pretty cafe and not seeing it filled with people. I'm hoping to try the pancakes next. Hopefully they change their pay as you order scheme as well as I find it a bit inconvenient when it comes to extra orders. Nevertheless, this cafe has a lot of potential, and I can't wait for them to expand their menu!

This all-day breakfast café is perfect.PLACE: The location was good! Tucked in at the heart of the city. It gave me the feeling of " so near yet so far " since it's in the heart of the city, still it has the peaceful ambience inside and outside. (Wae samok 😂) The interiors were very rustic with the long wooden table and the raw plastered wall with the g.i. Pipes used as wall luminaires which was really pretty and interesting. FOOD: What I love here is that the servings were big! I was here 3 times already, trying almost everything. My personal favorites were Pembroke's Dish, Banana Pancakes and their Brownie ala Mode! 😍😍😍 everything was worth the price. The brownie ala mode was very soft and it was not that sweet that's why I love it. SERVICE: Very fine! I love how friendly the staffs were. You got to try it there 👌🏻

This is heaven for all-day breakfast lovers like myself! The crispy and tasty bacon is my fave served at the perfect size and price. The Spam Bagel Sandwich was orgasmic. It has the ambience that coffee lovers would kill for. ❤️

This place is very hard to find. We are stuck near in Chung Hua and wandering where to find this cafe. I suggest that they should put a sign of their cafe. Food  is very tasty and has good service.

I really enjoyed my experience here with a couple of my friends. Food was really fulfilling and is appropriate to share with your people. I fell in love with the interior design especially its neon lights. The service, however was slow. The cashier wasn't available at some point, and the food was served too slow. But overall, I had a great experience.

I have never done a review for any cafes/restaurants in Cebu for as long as I have been eating out until today. Because the event called for it. This place is all hype. IG worthy because of its hipster decor, quasi-minimalist at best. That's about it. Today, my friend and I visited for brekkie at 9am. The lady at the counter kept suggesting items because they were 'bestsellers,' she said. Only to be given a grim, 'Oh, it's no longer available.' It's a Saturday. I assume their only busy day. For a cafe that prides itself with an ALL-DAY brekkie menu, it sure doesn't know what time of the day breakfast is served! I first ordered the banana pancakes because the lady said it was the only pancake flavor available and my friend opted for the one of their bagel offerings and a cappuccino. Later, she told me it was no longer available. So I placed another order, this time for Pembroke's omelette. A few minutes later, a male staff member approached our table to inform me that it was also no longer available. So I asked which one of the bagels were available, alas! none were available too. So finally, I settled for the Cheese omelette.  After more than 30 minutes since we first placed our order, my friend realized her coffee had never arrived! So I called their attention to ask what had happened to the coffee and the male staff member informed us that it was on its way but he also told my friend her bagel order was not available. Thirty minutes since she ordered it! What amazing service indeed! If you want disappointment as a side dish for your breakfast, please come visit Camden!

The place is the most charming I've seen. Poured-over concrete flooring, minimalist design, and industrial fixtures. The cafè is set at an apartment row so that definitely clinches the communal setting. The dining space is limited, but then again I did not peek at the second floor so I would suppose there's room enough upstairs. The food is priced slightly higher than most local cafès but the servings are good for sharing. The breakfast menu feels weird on a Sunday night, but I was more drawn to the space than the food. I have to get back there to get coffee and omelettes one of these days. We had the smoothies to pair with omelette and it was not an exciting combo. Service was quick (but then again it was a less busy night). The servers were pleasant and you can tell they are used to people taking instagrammable snaps throughout their space. The Rosal street location is quite out of the way, so you have to be patient if your local cab driver will not be able to find it immediately. For me, it feels like going to Bo's cafè without the maddening crowd. It's a great hangout / chill place.

The food is superb but it took us time to locate it.A signage would definitely help customers find it..hoping they will consider placing a bigger one outside the cafe

The place is a bit challenging to find since their signage outside is not visible from a far. The food though is good and service. The place is good to chill at.
