The pancakes are undoubtedly one of the best I've ever tasted. The customer service though needs more improvement due to the fact that they are way more courteous towards foreigners. Now for the food specifically the Breakfast "Skillet" which was served on a plate which consist of Fried potatoes (with no flavor), Sub-par French Toast, Bacon, Veal Sausage, 2 sunny side ups and 2 pcs. of wilted spinach leaves. This particular "skillet" cost P420.00 and 50mins to prepare, yet it wasn't even served hot, truly one of the biggest food disappointments I have ever experienced given the price and time needed to prepare such a "complicated" dish. Furthermore, Management should make sure their staff are well trained when handling diners from all walks of life.

I ordered via Grabfood their Spinach Dip and Chicken and Waffles. I was surprised that the chicken came with a creamy sauce topped with bacon bits. The breading of the chicken was also crunchy, which gave a lovely complement to the soft waffles. The maple syrup was spiced to my liking. The serving size is also generous as I couldn’t finish everything. As for the Spinach Dip, it was heaven as well. I just wish they put more toast slices.

What I loved: the pesto chops and the side salad with a nice vinaigretteWhat was just okay: pesto pasta. Could use a stronger basil flavorWhat I didn't like: caesar salad (big serving and really good egg, but there are hundreds of better caesar salads out there that are cheaper), salmon silog (very one note)

Birdseed Breakfast Club + Café has always alluded me for quite some time. But I never had a reason to go to Axis. It just seemed out of the way for me. They have been in the cafe business for long and it goes to show they can hang with the top Breakfast Cafés in Cebu. But their is one thing that has always puzzled me. Why the hell did they call themselves Birdseed? Doesn't really matter if they can dish out quality meals. The Place ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Ambiance at it's peak performance. They're going for that industrial minimalist thing that's been going on for the new Cafés. Though they hit a home run with how well they did with the place. Parking can really be a problem if you go there during meal times. The Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Contrary to popular belief that Cafés have small portions. They don't shy away from portions. You'd really fill up with their meals and the people love that. In an ever evolving era where unlimited this and that have been sprouting everywhere. They are a nice change of pace without really killing your health quicker than most unlimited places or buffets. I do recommend the Brisket Kimchi and Chicken and Waffles. The Service - ⭐⭐⭐ - I get it most of the workforce here are more inclined to the coffee place type of dining service. Which is non-existent. But I do give credit to some of them for adapting to the customer's needs without really breaking the ambiance they dot going on. But still needs a bit of tinkering. The Value ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - I mean they really have it going on right. The portions, the price and the place. Average service at best but hey at the very least they get things done. The prices are really proportionate with the taste and portioning of their assortments. Just one star shy from being a solid four.
