Always a safe choice. Not that great but definitely okay.Foods good but it doesn't have that WOW factor that I look for. It sort of the place where you go to just eat and leave.

Sunday and it is family day. We are craving century eggs and jelly fish and since we are in the mall, we headed straight for Big Mao. True, there are a number of Chinese restaurants to choose from but we come here for a few originals. Min mins Prawn Roulade and their Version of Birthday Pansit(Noodles). Theyve always been a family favorite since the original location at the Crossroads many years ago(now closed). Price is reasonable with enough variety to choose from, location is convenient. So if you are looking for good Chinese food, not dimsum or the fastrood kind, this is the place to be.

    1. Atmosphere/ Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I like how well lighted the place is. Space? If the restaurant is full, you'll have a hard time passing through 2. Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️3. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Not so good. Not so bad at all. Takes time to call a service crew sometimes. Bill takes time too!4. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is one of my fave chinese restaurant. Avearge range of the price is from 150-300 but that's already good for sharing5. Accessibility of the resto: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Because it's in a mall

For those who love bacon, you need to try their Bacon wrapped treasures! Their Seafood noodles is also good and I also love their tofu dishes! The price is reasonable and the ambiance is good.

One of my mom's favorite Chinese restaurant where she usually likes their lomi & beef with broccoli.😊 This is one comfort restaurant that serves tasty Chinese dishes at reasonable prices. I liked their minced pork with lettuce, lomi or crispy noodles, cuapao loaf (not found in their menu) & fish fillet in garlic & soy sauce. Unlike other Chinese restaurants, they serve kropek instead of peanuts while waiting for your ordered food to arrive.😁

We always love chinese restaurant and so we tried the newly improved Big Mao in Ayala. Price is affordable here especially their family/set meals, and amazingly the servings are quite bigger than other restaurants.

Recently tried the newly renovated Big Mao in Ayala. Menu was slightly changed, but food is sill good & tasty. Ambience is okay still a little stuffy. The service hasn’t improved. It still slow, nobody is outside to ask for an available table, takes too long to call a waiter (they seem just to look at you and not do much about it).

Big Mao. Curious about what they really serve. Though when I entered it's quite smelly I don't know I don't know where it came from maybe some of their dishes. In fairness their food was so delicious. Salted duck egg fried chicken was so flavorful specially when you partnered it with yang chow rice. Mixed seafood hotpot with beancurd was great also. I really enjoyed my dinner..

We wanted to try another chinese restaurant, aside from Majestic so we went here. Place was spacious. Less cramped compared to Majestic. We ordered their yang chow fried rice, pata tim with steamed cua pao, beef with broccoli and pancit lauriat.Beef with broccoli was tender and had more mushrooms than broccoli. Yang chow fried rice was fine for the price. Pancit lauriat was definitely drenched in sauce. Pata tim was also tender but raw lettuce was added so you could still taste the vegetables in the sauce. Steamed cua pao was less compared to those in majestic.Overall, it was ok but the downside was the timing of the food service. Pata tim was served late. We were done eating the pancit lauriat and broccoli. Restaurant would improve if service was faster.

Enjoyed lunch in this resto. Among the dishes we ordered, here are some of the more notable items:Corn and Crab Meat Soup - very hearty soup. A dish on its own. We were a party of 5, but the large order was too much for us.Pork Teppanyaki - just the right amount of everything. I loved the sauce.Salted Duck Egg Crusted Chicken - doesn't taste like salted egg, but I really liked how it was cooked to crisp.Big Punch - their best-selling concoction. Pineapple Juice based punch.
