I love the service. The staff are accommodating. Plus the food is satisfying. A bit pricy but it's all worth it. Plus did I mention that their ramen is close as the ramen in Japan. I over heard one staff explaining to the customer near my table that the soup for ramen has been cook for days, just like the one in Japan. So try this one guys. It won't disappoint you.

First time to eat here! Our group ordered Kuro Chasu, Shiro Zenbu and Tempura for dinner. Both ramen taste delicious with its rich flavor, all ingredients blending well in your mouth. I specifically like more the black ramen, the ones with black pork bone broth and garlic. Service is fast and the servers are very attentive.Ambiance is simple. The bowls and spoons which are arranged neatly on the wall add an interesting vibe to the place.Accessibity is strategic since the restaurant is in IT Park which can be accessed by Apas/Lahug-bound jeepneys and cabs. Parking is available also within the building and fee can be waived as long as validated.

The food is worth the price. Im no expert in eating ramen but the noodles isnt really my type, ive tried both thick and thin, the broth is perfect tho. Tried the koru tonkotsu, aka ni tomago and tantanmen. Gyoza and beef gyudon is ok . The chicken karaage is very good.

Their ramen is really good and really gets you full. The place is well designed and clean. They have fast service too. Although it may not be the best ramen in Cebu but it's still delicious. 😊

Never tasted a "mazesoba" before but I'm glad I tried it out! Apparently, it's like ramen without the soup and it tasted amazing... a rare find indeed! Plus the food presentation looks like it's straight out from an anime. I also like how fast the service is and the ambience was very chill for me after a day's work. They also have this small shelf which contains mangas which we discovered once we were going out of the restaurant which was just sad because we wanted to read them.

We just chanced upon Barikata at 10PM during Holy Thursday. We just finished our Bisita Iglesia and were lucky to have seen this place open! Don’t judge this place by its looks, because they have pretty good food. I got the Roasted Garlic Mazesoba & gyoza. I was able to try their Red Tonkotsu ramen as well. The Mazesoba was very tasty and the noodles were the perfect hardness. The gyoza was just okay. Their ramens, on the other hand, are on the sweet side — even the tantanmen was more sweet than spicy. Not really authentic ramen, but everyone was still happy with their orders.

I highly recommend the mazesoba ramen. Very filling and a finely crafted blend of various food ingredients and flavors. I will definitely come back for the ramen. One thing though the A/C wasn’t working as efficiently when we visited but it was good that they had tables outside and the weather was cool and breezy. So dining alfresco proved to be better.

Last night, I went to Barikata Ramen Bar together with my co-teachers. This Japanese restaurant was awarded by Sunstar as the Best Ramen Shop of 2016. The shop is managed by one of our offline students, Oki-san. We went there to avail their newest promo. You will get a 50% off of the real price by presenting a copy of their promo flyers and make sure your done liking their facebook page since it is part of the promo mechanics. The 50% off is only applicable if you choose the ramen of your choice; Tantan men or Shoyu Tonkotsu. The promo is valid until the 31st of May 2018.I ordered the Tantan men while Shoyu Tonkotsu for my friends. I had tried Tantan men before and I really liked it. That was the main reason why I chose it over the Shoyu Tonkotsu. The real price was a little bit expensive but as for me, it was worth the price. The spiciness and the creaminess blended perfectly. The noodle was something odd. I find it different from the other ramen shop I had been visited before. I was not that sure if they were using authentic Japanese ingredients for their ramens and other dishes. I had tasted as well the Shoyu Tonkotsu but I must say Tantan men was much better than that. Glad I made the right choice. The Shoyu Tonkotsu looked so yummy but it was like “Expectation vs. Reality”. The three teachers who ordered the dish were not able to finish their ramens. We also ordered two additional food as our side dishes. The ramen serving was fine and enough for one person. The service was fast. No need for you to wait longer than 30 minutes. They served the food hot. The ambience of the place was great maybe because we were the only customers last night. The staff were very accommodating. They wore their smiles and friendly vibes. If I am going to rate Barikata Ramen Bar it would be 4.4 over 5:Food – 3.5/5Place – 5/5Ambience – 5/5Servings – 3.5 /5Staff – 5/5 If I will have the chance to visit the place again, I would surely want to go back but no longer for the ramens.

I’ve to Japan twice. I’ve frequented Japanese restaurants here in the Ph over the years in the search for ramen places that decent ramen I can add on a very short list (because it is indeed difficult to find). I must say Barikata is the one of the closest thing to authentic Japanese ramen here in Cebu that tastes delicious (I also like Ikkousha). The broth is pleasing to the palate, not too salty nor too oily and the broth does not taste rushed, Barikata definitely tastes their time to prepare their pork bone broth over an ample amount of time (just like traditional ones). I am very particular with my ramen and Barikata undoubtedly tops my list for Cebu.Authentic Japanese ramen is not meant to overwhelm. The Japanese principle in food making are all about balance. I sense this in Barikata’s ramen. I tried their regular Tonkotsu and the black Kuro-Tonkotsu, both were superb. It takes me back to Odaiba, Osaka’s food haven. I personally like ramen that I can enjoy to the very last sip of the dish. Most of the other ramen places in Cebu are bombarded with MSG, too salty, some even have ammoniacal smell that’s why I am hurt how come some of those horrible places have a higher rating than Barikata.

Maze soba is great, by mixing all the ingredients when you eat it, there's a twist to it. I really enjoy it. It's quite far but it's very worth it. I guarantee you.
