Tuslob Buwa literally means 'dip' and 'bubbles'. We had a hard time looking for this place because the landmark 'yamaha' is at the wrong coordinates in waze app and its not available in website. When you order, they'll give you the ingredients, but it depends on who cooks it for the taste and the outcome of the 'dish'. As a chef, i cooked the way i wanted it. I heated the lard and the brains to make a buttery liquid, then sauteed in the onions and alamang. After a few minutes, i added the liver to melt it before adding the stock and seasoning it with soy. I simmered all our broken puso in the sauce until thickened. It was a sisig gravy, similar how we soak our rice with KFC gravy. It's rich and tasty that you would ask for more. But it just lacks the 'meat'. If i were to eat it again, ill buy some fried chicken or even lechon and use it as a gravy for my meal.WARNING: do not eat too much, its a killer gravy.

I really have high expectations with this place because of all the hype and since i've tasted pasil's tuslob buwa which was delicious. the cook-it-yourself tuslob buwa isnt worth all the hype at all. Though it's something different, it's not that noteworthy and the place can house a very limited number of customers.

Excellent if you want exotic food. Its actually pretty tasty and affordable. You'll be the one to cook it (pig's brain). And the you dip your rice and enjoy the meal!

What a TUSLOB BUWA experience! Yum yum... Its concept is simple but delicious. Its nice to experience that you will cook your own pig's brain sauce according to your taste then you will dip the "puso" rice. The price is also reasonable. The package compose of 12 pcs. "puso" and recipe for pig's brain sauce... Though the place is not that presentable and its kinda messy when you do the cooking. This resto suits for people who is "cowboy" type...

great when you're with a lot of friends. not only you would enjoy the food, you'd also enjoy preparing the food. and it's the only non-disgusting exotic food i've ever tried.

Honestly, I don't like the place and some of the crew. In my opinion, the drinks are over prized which is not good. The Tuslob buwa is not that worth it too, it's like they are only using sawdust instead of pig brain.

When I first heard about this place, my initial reaction was "Yuck. Pig's brain." so I wasn't really excited with all the hype going around back then. But when my colleagues invited me to come here for a drink, I had no choice but to taste this very exotic dish since it was the only "pulutan" we had. And from then on, I got addicted to it. It's actually quite tasty but that would also depend on how you cook it. But not to worry since they have instructions written on the wall for those first-timers.I really enjoyed the whole Cook-It-Yourself experience and I've already been here 4 times (Just so you know, this place is really far from where I live). It's a great activity when you're with a group. But in my opinion, 1 order is not enough for 3 or more people. Or maybe my friend and I just have really big appetites bec 1 serving wasn't enough for both of us. LOL. I'd also recommend their Kinupsan & Sizzling Singsing -- really good. Skip the Halo2x though. And I just don't like it when it gets too crowded. However, during my last visit, it wasn't. And we went there around 8pm. But I guess it's because it was a weekday. But according to friends, the original Tuslob Buwa in Pasil is a lot tastier. But Azul's is just the cleaner & fun version.

People new to Cebu should make it a point to try Tuslob Buwa. It's really a different take on eating rice and sauce (if I may call it that). I guess this is best with beer and alcohol.

Located just beside Wasted Chef, this might be the best tuslob buwa in town but service was poor and the place was untidy, the tables were greasy and we have to wait for a long time for our additional orders.

Do you guys watch The Best Ever Food Review Show? I do! I used to not like him because I thought he's just another white person banking off of views from developing countries but turns out he's more than that. Anyway, not here to promote him or his channel but I wanted to give an overview of his channel before diving in on my next topic. Y'all know I love exploring and discovering new cuisine which is why I was surprised because I've seen one of his episodes wherein he eats "Pork brains gravy" also known as Tuslob Buwa.
