Ita been a year since Akita opened and the place is full on a friday night. Their "OMOTENASHI" starts with a delicious complimentary potato salad as you wait for your order. Ordered best seller Miso Ramen and Buta Kimchi Ramen. The first spoon tastes surprisingly weird but as you keep eating, the taste becomes more flavorful and tasty. The Miso Ramen came with many vegetable and its a bit spicy. The Buta kimchi ramen is a sweet and spicy. Akita presents a different take on Ramen unique to many ramen houses in Cebu. Service is fast and friendly. Its interesting.

I'm giving a double thumbs up to their miso ramen, the broth has a really rich taste and the serving is also good for it's price. Other than the ramen, there's plenty of good food to choose from and all has just the right price.The staffs ate very accomodating specially the owner. He is very friendly and you can really see and feel his love of serving good food to his customers.

The staff and the owner's hospitality is humbling. Aside from the food, that's the factor that makes you wanna come back. Truly a wonderful place. Their Kimchi Don is the bomb too!

We're craving for Ramen when we found their ad in Facebook. Food is okay but we think that the taste needs further improvement. I want to give credit to the owner and staff for continuously serving Cebu City.

I got Buta-don Shoyu and my partner ordered a Butakimchi don. Both meals were really great and worth the price paid. The atmosphere is cozy the owner is present probably at all times as well -- as is a norm with authentic Japanese restaurants.They have a ramen promo every Wednesday as well! Something to definitely look forward to.

We were able to visit the store because of the promotion they have.. Store ambiance can still be improved.. They have very attentive staff. Mid range prices for food specifically for the kimchi.. We just ordered two dishes.. Food is okay :)

Good thing we arrived early otherwise we would have been on a waitlist. Food is uhmazing that people are willing to wait for a spot. At around 7pm, it's a thick crowd waiting to be seated.The staffs are cheerful and accommodating. Will definitely come back for more!👍 : Food is sooo good. Huge serving and pretty food presentation. They give promos from time to time. Attentive staff👇 They don't accept credit card yet. Be ready to pay cash.

I had a great time with this small but homey restaurant.. Me and my friend ordered spicy shoyu ramen even if miso was their best seller. Its not that we dont like their miso ramen, we just want a not so thick broth. It was the 2nd best ramen ive tasted here in cebu. Plus, their staffs are so welcoming, it felt like im eating at my own house. Also, 260php is a very good price for a ramen like that. Im definitely going back to taste their famous miso ramen. 👏👏👏Updated 2/11/2017: just went back today to finally have a taste of their miso ramen. I cant explain how tasty the broth is. Well, tasty is not enough to describe it actually. No wonder its their best seller. Try it today! Promo is extended: miso ramen only for 150php until end of February.

I enjoyed their promo Miso Ramen from 260 to 150 for the month of february. Taste was so good and can full your tummy with their big bowl serving.. Gyoza was so tasteful.. Can't wait again to taste another Miso. March? Another promo.. Yes.. surely be back.. 👍👍👍

Gyoza needs improvement. [oily, burnt, broken]I informed the management and they were nice enough to acknowledge their mistake.Giving them a five since the owner as well as the staff were very accomodating. Nothing beats a hole in the wall place with very good service.As to the ramen, it is definitely better than cheap/fastfood ramen's in Cebu. The serving is also big even if it was on 150 promo.
