Bad food. Bad service. Food takes too long to serve. It took 1 hour for the onion soup to be served. They served the soup without any cutlery. We placed our orders from the menu, a lot of items are not available. We changed our order to another item, also not available. The french onion soup tasted sour, and no cheese at all. Burger steak was burnt and served with pepper sauce (sauce for pork chops) because they ran out of mushroom gravy. Chicken a la king was served with just 1 small chunk of chicken breast. What a totally disappointing experience for such a big brand.

I always love the blueberry cheese cake, pasta, pastries and coffee here at French Baker 💃Since gradeschool, I've always loved the soup in a bread and ofcourse, all the pastries!!!

I’ve been going here for as long as I can remember even as a kid. My mom loves the Barbecue and their Mango Crepe Ala Mode. I, however, always keep coming back for their Banana Nutella Crepe, Carbonara and Soup on a Bread Bowl. Breads and pastries aren’t bad either. Prices are very worth it as well. Serving sizes are bigger than most restaurants, making it okay for the place to be slightly pricey. Service is a bit slow, especially during lunch and dinner hours when there’s a lot if customers but that’s kind of expected given that they also seem to be a bit short-staffed. All in all, still a highly recommended place to dine at (solely for the exquisite food)

I’ve ordered their carbonara and brewed citrus iced tea. I always like the ambiance here but this visit, i just noticed that they have narrow space where in the set-up of their tables and chairs have no more space in each other. I like their carbonara - creamy and delish, their servers provided me water the soonest they served my carbonara. However, I’m almost finished with my snacks but my iced tea is not served yet so I decided to refund my money but the server was nice and apologise but said that it’s almost done.I just told him to put it on disposable cup so I can have it as, to go. I hope that they could be more attentive and set-up their tables and chairs nicely rather than looking crowded.

Poor customer service. They have about 5 tables occupied only, yet no one approached me as I entered, or even when I sat down to hand me a menu, or ask if I ordered already. If I hadn't called the attention of the server after about 5 minutes of waiting for someone to serve me, I wouldn't have been informed that orders ideally need to be taken at the front. Yet the couple at the table beside me and another lady on the table next to them were all holding menus, choosing food. Still I wasn't given a menu and was basically ignored. So I left and I am never coming back. Nothing on their menu is of saving grace anyway.

I remember falling in love with chops at the same resto years back. Never one to order chops because of its chewiness, I was absolutely delighted with the Pork Chop Au Poivre and has always been my fave since then. The Baked Chicken was equally sumptuous, tender and without the meat being overpowered by its gravy.Today was another satisfying meal. What has become better is that their lady crew has learned to smile a little! ;)

We go to The French Baker mainly to buy French bread and at times to snack on their wonderful pastries as well. It has a number of branches that spread almost everywhere. We like their Sta Lucia outlet as it is the one closest to our house in terms of travel time. It's a clean, cozy and well lit place which exudes a relaxing al fresco feel even inside the mall. The attentive and friendly lady servers certainly added some points to its charm as well. They offer a selection of breads, pastries and they do have some appetizing food items on the menu. When we do decide to have a light meal, our favorites to order are the Soup on a Bread bowl (the creamy soup varies everyday), Salad Starter (Small portion of salad greens with honey balsamic dressing sided with lavash wedge), CHICKEN ALA KING (we love the chunks of chicken in creamy "a la king" sauce), Mango Crepes and Eclair. These always keep us satisfied.

I remember having simple dates with my bf here when I was in college, now the bf is my hubby and we still like to eat here for the simple good food. One thing though I don't like here is you need to pay and order at the cashier no waiter to take your order

Their pasta is great but not exemplary. It is also a bit unfortunate that most of the drinks that we chose from their menu were not available though I think their pastries are a must-try!

I've had French Baker's french onion soup before, and I didn't like it very much. Not sure what possessed me to try this again at a different outlet, but I'm glad I did. I love the huge improvement in the flavor, and the portion size was just right. I like lifting the puff pastry off the edge of the cup, and dunking it whole in the soup. It makes for a filling mid-afternoon snack to help tide you over till dinner time comes around.
