Gone were the days when we would be thrilled to dine at this Mongkok outlet in Sta Lucia, Cainta. The place used to be conducive to dining with the new and well-maintained furnitures. Recently, our visit was a bit of a disappointment. The room set-up was almost the same but with noticeably banged up tables and sofa chairs begging for a facelift, which let us think of the place' sanitation. Despite of it all, we still went in for old times' sake and just to try out our favorites once again. We had their merienda meals: wonton noodles and the 2-piece asado siopao which came with 12 oz Nestea iced tea. The 3 pieces of wonton had very thick wrappers and small amounts of filling. It was a bit rubbery but flavorful. The broth was okay but needed some seasoning to give it added flavors. The asado siopao were still alright but not extraordinary.Justin, the waitstaff, has been attentive. We'd surely appreciate to see some positive improvements with the place for better customer satisfaction and for them to be competitive. This is maybe one of the least visited restaurants in the mall at present.

I've always wondered why there isn't a long line at Mongkok's Sta Lucia outlet. And now I know why. The food is not fresh and the servers don't care. And pretty soon your customers won't either.I ordered the appetizer combination and the spareribs tausi. The appetizer combination on the menu looked like it is comprised of steamed chicken, asado pork, seaweed, and century egg. I even asked the server. But the actual dish is SOY chicken, WHITE chicken, seaweed, and century egg. The server's mistake, but no apology. Not sure why the distinction between the soy and white chicken was made because it looked and tasted exactly the same. The tausi spareribs, on the other hand, was pulled from the dimsum cart but was very, very dry. It obviously was not prepared and cooked that day. The texture was terrible.

Nothing to special with their Chinese food. Staff are not attended. And the place is smelly. Its not so inviting. Medyo luma na ang place and i think would need to be renovated if they want toattract customers. Dont have many choices of food in their menu.

Has friendly staff. Their wanton noodles for me is not that tasty. Mongkok special fried rice is like yang chow fried rice but has sausage instead of seafood. The seafood roll (crabstick with fish fillet) tastes good.
