I have generally loved Max's "sarap to the bones" fried poultry and another dishes that they offer including lumpiang ubod, kare-kare, adobong kangkong stuffed tofu, pinaputok na bangus, buco pandan, amongst others. I possess visited many of their branches nationwide and also have been impressedby the regularity in the grade of their food and support. My recent stop by at Max's Eating place in Butuan Town was my first-time to get disappointed making use of their service. The cafe was obviously understaffed since it took quite a long time for them to focus on their visitors, from seating them to supplying their bill. What pissed me off was that after a lot more than a quarter-hour of waiting, the waiter simply left section of our purchase on the tray desk beside us in which a lot of visitors waiting to be seated were chatting. Rather than serving the meals immediately, he first positioned the paper mats on the tables next to us. Then went inside the shop without serving our food items first so we simply picked the meals ourselves. It's the first-time I experienced something similar to this. It had been also disappointing that people have to follow-up our tofu dish 3 x. It was served whenever we were already finished with the combo foods that we ordered. My pal requested the waitress to supply the bill when she approved by visiting the restroom. When she returned, she was amazed that the costs was still not directed at us and noticed that the waitress has been just standing doing nothing at all. I assume the issue had not been just being understaffed but getting inefficient. I really hope they improve their services in the Butuan branch to help keep the standard of service Max's is well known for. For a eating place that believes that "It's service that matters", the Butuan branch could be the "dark sheep" that must level up its assistance.

Don't get me incorrect they do serve great food; I just can't stand their lunch time promo rice bowl with kare-kare (it flavor lame with small part) in fact it is very costly for a rice bowl dinner (199 pesos). This is a good place as well eatthough.

First, some time ago my pal complained that she had been served a microwaved foods but the inside continues to be frozen so she in no way went back. Simply yesterda, we came right here to eat. I purchased macaroni salad also it tasted great but my companion alsoordered a plate with macaroni salad and her salad tasted various...spicy and on the brink of spoiling. Employees weren't as attentive because the other restos due to the fact they only had several customers.

We ate earlier to defeat the queues though it was nevertheless busy, regardless of that the provider was prompt and having been advised of a 10 minute wait, our meals arrived exactly 10 minutes later. We both find the Platter meal, basically fried poultry, rice and noodles, not too bad. As well as iced tea it found 598pesos.

We took breakfast inside Max Restaurant. Its just next to our hotel Go Resort. We ordered fried bangus with rice and espresso for P 160 per order... Good spot to take breakfast in the event that you stay static in the Go Hotel.

Max's Cafe has been an organization nationwide. We were happy to arrive across among its branches in Butuan Town open on January 1 when the majority of the dining places in the town were shut for the vacation season. We ordered a few of our oldtime favorites ... kare-kare, lumpiang shanghai, nilagang baboy, pancit canton, etc. ... which, needless to say, all tasted great. Nevertheless, service was quite gradual (maybe because just a handful of the personnel reported for function?) and the air-conditioning device had not been working very properly. At any rate, I'd still recommend this spot to those that want a flavor of authentic Filipino meals.

Getting visited the Max's within Hawaii, I believed it will be good to go to the Max's within Butuan. Overall it was significantly less than I anticipated. The staff took a long time to acknowledge my existence and appeared impatient to describe some ofthe products on the menus. After lastly ordering, it got a long time for the purchase to reach. Others (regional) emerged in after me and obtained their orders quickly. There is only 1 host who double because the waitress working at that time. Sadly, I don't believe I will go back to this store anytime soon.
