We heard bout Vunong through Bisumi tours plus they handled our reservation. Seating and established menus orders are limited which means you definitely want to make a booking. It had been a rainy evening for dining nonetheless it was worth taking in in this restaurant due to the uniqueness of these food presentation. The warm beef broth with fern leaf held us warm. We loved unfolding the breadfruit leaf where in fact the tumeric rice and thevariety of meals like banana pith balls, adobo, and beef tapa had been wrapped. The seafood goes nicely with the fern salad. Their buttered turon had been so good!

The majority of the resto within Batanes will need reservation. Primary cause is basically because they don't prepare massive amount foods specially this year due to a few tourists. I actually made a reservation here c/o Ate Linda of TimeTravel Lodge. They served their foodswrapped in what they called Vunong. It is a huge leaf. I was informed that they usually assist the vunong during exclusive occassions. The foods in the leaf are usually rice (java riceI believe), lunis (such as a prok adobo), seafood, uvud balls and beef. In addition, it includes beef nilagay and kmaotecue. The quantity is 300.00 rather than bad for a collection meal. It's tasty and I was therefore happy because I could eat local ivatan meals. The create is so nice aswell. Don't miss this location!

Vunong Dinette may be the only decent eating place we’ve visited that's worth every penny. Their food isn’t pretentious and is completely delicious!! They don't have a menu however they just serve a collection dinner for 350(?) pesos per individual (I forgot if it has been350 or 300). Their uved and pako salad are to die for!

We sampled the meals here because the tutorial told us that's where to eat if you would like native Ivatan meals. We did also it was really worth it. The meals was a variety of indigenous pork marinated and strong fried, turmeric rice (they callyellow rice) covered in breadfruit tree leaf. If you need to sample Ivatan cuisine, try out this place.
