People from Manila may find the place cheap but when you are from the South, this place is just an overpriced karinderya. But i cant deny that the food is delish. Bulalo and kilawin are perfect. Plus you can order half kilawin-half liempo in oneserving.

I grew up visiting this place regularly with my parents every Baguio visit, every single summer. Genuine Ilocanos that they are, my parents love the classic beef and goat-based viands offered here. Cooked in the traditional Ilocano way, favorites like papaitan, kilawin, dinakdakan, sinanglao andkalderata are meat dishes regularly offered at all hours of the day. Still famous to this day, they still enjoy a regular stream of customers so "rush hour" is usually lunch and dinner.

Slaughterhouse is a place where you can take a break while you wait for your livestock to be prepared to you. A great area also for those who would go to Sagada, Bontoc, Aurora Province, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya. You can get your stomach filledbefore riding a bus or van to where you will go.

A nice escape from the many restaurants in Baguio - Slaughterhouse compound is your original local food yard populated with over a handful of eateries, each offering their own versions of classics like grilled liempo, pinapaitan and other goat/ beef/ pork dishes. Balajadias is byfar the more popular stall, drop by and experience unapologetic local cuisine served on melaware dishes. You can't get more local than this.

A favorite place for people who enjoy the local cuisine in the city of Baguio. Food is delicious but price is now expensive, not to mention the reduced amount of serving or getting more bones than meat in your plate during a bad day.

The food in resto is great and affordable as well and maybe it depends on the resto. It's very accessible to the city because it's near to the highway and there's a lot of vehicle like taxi and Jeep.

Ate specifically at Balajadia Restaurant. My family's Ilokano so we ordered a lot of igado, pinakbet, kilawin, and dinakdakan. We also had grilled liempo. Everything was so good and at reasonable prices. Don't expect too much with the seating and ambiance. They also grill themeats outside so some of the smoke can go inside. But if you're a camper and can tough these hole in the wall situations, then you've got yourself a winner here. :)

Ate at Balahadia. Service was fast and our group was luckily seated immediately but lines tend to form here so try go early if you can. The bulalo and beef papaitan is the best I've had and i highly recommend you try out. I forgetwhat you call the "bopis-like" dish, but that was really good too. The grilled liempo was really flavorful but a bit on the tough side and that was my only issue here. But i will definitely go back.
