We tried the teppanyaki desk at Hamada since many of us were buying different flavor during Baguio. Japanese food isn't that common within Philippine mountainous areas because of the limited way to obtain fresh seafood however the choices offered at Hamadadid not disappoint. The set teppanyaki menu at Php 2000++ per person will probably be worth it considering the meal and the grade of the dishes and also the ability of the teppanyaki chef.

Waited a quarter-hour to be seated. Way too many people. Service is quite slow. Food was quick but not excellent. Don't purchase sashimi cuz it isn't fresh since shares are via Manila. Hamachi really was bad. Refreshing frozen. Tuna was a week older. Sorrybut its real. Tried angus steak but its a little done well. Very sad dinner. Price us 7k for 5 pax.

I've been do a large number of Hibatchi/Teppanyaki dining places and Hamada would position in the low 10% of these. I was quite pleased with the environment, the service, the efficiency and also the price was in a acceptable variety, but with one exception, the meals was blandat best. Actually, I don't mean poor. It wasn't poor at all. It simply wasn't great either. I highly suspect the culprit because of this cooking mediocrity is could possibly be overcome having an overhaul of the varieties and levels of sauces used. EASILY ever head to Hamada once again, I find no option to taking my very own ginger sauce, seafood sauce and a lot of gochujang. Those three may likely raise my ranking by two stars. The main one exception mentioned earlier was the fried rice. I could say that it had been hands down among the best fried rice I've actually come across. It is not enough to standalone, nonetheless it was enough to avoid the dinner from being truly a complete write-off. As I reside in Baguio, I'll likely attempt Hamada again in per year or even three. I only wish they arrive around to revamping their bland method of what is said to be an extremely rich and savory food.

Experienced a late lunch time at Baguio Nation Club’s Japanese eating place. The resto is situated at the bottom floor. Resto’s space isn't very big so make sure to possess a reservation prior to going there. There is no spicy tuna or salmon sushi in themenu however the resto accommodated my demand - and quite fast! Actually appreciated the lodging. I furthermore ordered the poultry katsu - adored it- tasty and actually crisp. My colleagues purchased the noodles, kani sushi. There are several selections for rice toppings, as well. Their ramen can be good. Prices are pretty reasonable. Good, attentive service. Much better ventilation probably esp during summer season. Baguio is normally cool but could be comfy at some factors of the day.
