So that you can sit outside or inside. Outside is great but might have too several bugs for a few people's taste. Furthermore being outside, the support can be a tiny bit slow. Inside, it really is like you come in someone's house. In any other case, the meals is tasty.

Nice location, good atmosphere. Sitting outside with several friends is excellent, it really is cosy and stimulating, the meals and ale is pleasurable. Inside is good, however, not surprising. A little flat in the flavor. However the draugjt beer comoensates for the shortcomings.

Another Baguio preferred, Chaya has remained constant over the years. Nevertheless, walking directly into have a meal there's, sometimes, quite difficult through the peak period and I would definitely advise against getting a car, when possible, as the parking situation continues to be its majorproblem. The meals has retained its sensitive stability of flavors, from the chirashi to the sukiyaki to the tuna kara-age. Still a great choice for Japanese foods, although, a little pricey.

I will begin by complimenting the personnel - I made a final moment reservation (literally like simply 30mins forward) for my dad's birthday celebration and the employees was kind and beneficial to accommodate my reservation and demand! The meals was great as well and the area iscozy. They're very organized. I recommend this restaurant :)

Got the opportunity to rise the fabled Pine Town to see the nippy and cold February weather (11-12 °C during the night) and our millennial girl convinced us to possess dinner here. Because the loved ones likes Japanese cuisine, we didn't hesitate. Chaya exudes that"experience in the home" ambiance since it must have been a former home, now repurposed as a resto. Right after gobbling up the free appetizers, we tried their Chirashi Sushi and Temaki Sushi (roll your personal sushi) plus traditional Japanese faves, Ebi Tempura and Sukiyaki. To help keep us warm was totally free flowing Japanese house tea!! Service has been prompt, friendly, and attentive regardless of being truly a full house in those days. Taste was superb with good value. Will definitely go back to try their some other offerings.

I live only a block from Chaya thus it’s my go-to cafe whenever I’m as well lazy to show on the oven or even defrost whatever’s in my own fridge. Today, it had been late lunch at 3:00pm. The area was empty. While looking forward to our purchase, they servedthe normal tuna hors d’oevre but I had been delighted to possess been served a fresh one - pickled okra. The mix of the tuna and okra actually got my tastebuds working. Our mains katsu curry, yakiniku, gyoza, and salmon sashimi were the most common; they were great. The miso soup nowadays has been odd though, it got fish and didn’t possess tofu. Still tasted good nonetheless it sort of reminded me of sinigang na bangus instead of miso soup. In any case, the sashimi had been orgasmically great and the slices didn’t have those whitened marbling (if I’m not really mistaken, farmed salmon provides prominent marbling). Tummies complete, we requested for the cheque, even though waiting for our costs, they offered their green tea extract ice cream. It didn’t possess mung beans at the top nonetheless it was still a delicacy. Arigatou, Sonoko san.

The restaurant is within an old and classy constructing with a nice back yard and a smartly designed cozy inside. We loved the authentic Japanese foods and I was furthermore in a position to meet the proprietor who was simply very friendly and in addition answered my questions aboutsome of the plants in the back yard. We actually enjoyed our remain, the new food and the tasty fruit shakes. When we are back Baguio we shall definitely come again.
