We visited Yakimix unside SM Masinag to celebrate my mom's birthday with my family. Since I am a fan of anything Japanese, I enjoyed salmon and tuna sashimi; tempura and sushi after sushi. While my husband focused on his favorite grilled squid and seafood. My 2 year old baby had strawbwrry ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, gummy in different shapes and colors and colorful chocolate candies!

Nothing short of your buffet place that caters to Japanese, Korean, and Filipino dishes. This place is very much crowded and has little spacing next to other tables. The staff is attentive though. Sometimes it takes a while before a rack of tempura is refilled. The taste of the food is good, although I didn't like the fact that they didn't clean their shrimps before cooking (taking out the black strip on the shrimps back is its body waste). Nothing spectacular about the place, but the food is well worth it. I suggest you try all available food before binging on one favorite dish to maximize the experience.

Yakimix in SM Masinag is such a good place for a celebration. I availed tix from Metrodeal, and it says there that it should be a week before the resevation day. I tried to call in SM Masinag branch if they can reserved a day before. Fortunately, they confirmed my reservation. 👍🏻 They have a cozy place and have a great choices of food/dishes! 👍🏻

I love the food they're so delicious but the variety of foods are few especially the beverages. The plates are also not enough for the customers. A few staffs seems to be not so accommodating but most of them are fun especially those who sing and dance to the birthday celebrants.

Ate here for dinner at 6pm for a birthday celebration and we already have a seat upon arriving. The quality and taste of the food is great as well as for the sushi! I had some sushi first then ebi and kani tempura, siomai, etc. As I noticed, they refill the food fast. The staff are also getting empty plates right away. For the ventilation, I got a bit teary-eyed because of the smoke since it does not have the korean bbq exhaust but, it was still fine. We did not use the grill too much anyway. I finished my meal with desserts like cheesecake mousse, ice cream, and some jelly beans. What I liked the most for dessert was the strawberry-flavored one. 😊

Went here for lunch on a Saturday with my family. Their sushi was really good, but everything else was just meh.First, they have too few food variety for a buffet restaurant. Sure they have a grilling option, but the meat and other raw ingredients for grilling were just refilled VERY SLOWLY.They had 2 kinds of rice, some dim sum which were all too salty, and a Japanese cuisine section which comprised of some tempura, katsu, sashimi, and sushi.Their salad bar didn't really look enticing.Desserts were so- so, though their Buchi was freshly made and tasted superb.To top it all, service was bad.

Not satisfied with the staffs as they are not observant to which food needed refill and also they are not accomodating. Most staff is not even smiling. :(

Ate here on a Saturday so probably why a lot of people meant slow refills. The birthday dance music was annoying to be repeated as many times as there were tables as the dancers go through EVERY TABLE that has a celebrant to dance each time. Also, got sick by the end of the night here. For its price point, it's ok. But not totally impressed with the food selection. They have lots of desserts though that makes them stand out from other buffets.

I like Yakimix because of the choices of foods but I think they should add more on the menu, also mabagal sila mag refill ng foods, obvious na ayaw makarami ang customers.
