Tried their rice bowls yesterday which has humongous amount of rice, I'll come back for the cream dory fish fillet and pork and mushroom, also tried the other 2 but wasn't satisfied. Too salty for me, maybe because of the oyster sauce or it wasn't really balanced with the supposedly sweetness of the teriyaki sauce. Thumbs down for their hot choco that looks like a packet of Milo chocolate drink mixed with lots of sugar. Customer service was superb even if we came in late. 😊

Superb food with a homey atmosphere. We ordered chicken pesto, veggies and cream sandwich, seafood pasta and an iced malunggay coffee. Both pastas tasted good with each ingredient complementing each other. Pesto sauce is one of the best I've tasted this side of the Metro. Its green color is very vibrant yet it tasted just right. What is very surprising is the serving portion for the reason that it can be shared by a couple. With a price of just a little over a 100 pesos, it is really a bang for your buck. The cream and veggies sandwich was very light and quite good at the same time. Served with a wheat bread, you can tell the vegetables are fresh because of its crispness and very tasty. The iced malunggay coffee was quite interesting. At firstI thought it was made from maluggay involving some delicate and very complicated process. Then I found out that it was just regular brewed coffee infuse with some malunggay bits. Anyway, it tasted good just the same.To sum it up, the food is something that you'll go back to, ambiance is quite comforting and the price is definitely a still. Don't just expect something extraordinary on their coffees but it's worth a try.

I love everything about the place. It's so cozy and very quiet. The food was so good and very affordable. We ordered chicken alfredo, aglio olio and the malungay frappe they were all superb!

The homey and cozy vibes makes Roots And Herbs our go-to place during college. The cold breeze in Antipolo during the months of December to February makes us crave for the infamous Malunggay coffee.

The reason why I keep on coming back is their malunggay coffee. I used to stay here for hours to think and unwind. A very relaxing cafe with some bears for you to cuddle ❤

first time i tried their frappe was in robinsons palawan, it tasted like heaven! and it's a good thing i live in antipolo so their branch is just a few minutes away from my house. their frappe had a unique taste that's unlike any other frappes i've tasted + they make the great clubhouse sandwiches!!!

Coffee and cake prices are around what you would usually expect from a coffee shop. (I guess that's plus.)Everytime I'm here I order rice meals (ranging from 150-200 a bowl.) but, I found inconsistencies in their serving, sometimes there were veggies (as advertised) and sometimes it was lacking carrots or even earlier, no veggies at all. The place is quiet compared to most coffee shops in Antipolo and that's a definite plus.

Although the fact that Roots and Herbs is the nearest coffee shop in my house in Antipolo, the main reason why I find this place enticing is the promise they have that they do serve healthy coffee and food choices. And indeed they are true to their words.I tried their Malunggay Coffee Frappe and find it surprisingly good considering a combination of coffee and malunggay sounds really weird to me. Good thing that I gave this one a go because it is really good. It tasted like a strong coffee but in a good way. I also tried their Mocha Frappe which taste can rival the big names in coffee industry. The Green Tea however was too sweet for my liking.I am still going back to try some of their pasta and rice dishes because I heard they are really good. I however managed to try their Cheese Pimiento Pandesandwich, an affordable treat which tasted good. The service is good and the baristas are all friendly and accommodating. I love the fact the the prices are very reasonable and the ambiance although situated in a secluded area is a nice place to stay if you want to avoid the business of the street.

Good food with reasonable and affordable prices --- I love the Malunggay Coffee and (hot and cold) Butterscotch drinks. They have big servings for their delicious Pasta and Rice meals too. Their cakes are a bit expensive though. :( Good place to go if you want a quiet place to hangout with friends or loved ones. I recommend afternoons or evenings if you would like to sit on the tables outside (they have limited seats inside) and appreciate nature and fresh air. They also have a separate room for meetings or large group gatherings. Contact them for reservations.

Didn't expect that there's a place like this where you can stay and enjoy. Quiet and peaceful, nevermind the distance. Worth the price. Will definitely go back and try other drinks since we're full when we dropby.
