this restaurant location began over 30 years back when there was an obvious view of the Marikina Valley and there wasn't an excessive amount of traffic from the Cubao or Ortigas Avenue areas. in the past, it had been a makeshift rickety affair of nipa huts produced ofbamboo, sufficient reason for the increasing reputation of the QC & Makati folks the nipa homes began looking similar to nipa condominiums. fast forward 2017. the location remains, although even more traditional restaurants and bars now occupy the region. the nipa huts overlooking the valley have already been changed with bamboo sided but with cement flooring and GI roofs. sadly, my hut got a large tree and another hut blocking my look at of the valley, plus some huts acquired karaoke units for the clients to sing (along with other customers forced to pay attention). the meals is so-so, the beer required ice, however, many of the ambience had been still there - specifically the cool evening climate, a cloudless evening sky, the lighting on the valley twinkling. would i would recommend this eating place? yes, but only when you prefer roughing it up and do not expect flushing toilets. in any other case, i'd skip this easily were you.
