I posted overview of Puzzles Cafe simultaneously as this place. A fascinating bit of part trivia will be that the menus still used was created by Mike Scully, the aged, long time owner/supervisor of Puzzle's, as he previously the cafe concessionhere at the VFW. But also for more than the final year my understanding will be that Mike no more has any state in operating the concession and that Philippine administration has had over the restaurant section of the article and the bar. Mike DID possess very good menu selection setup right here, and in my humble opinion they've just about kept to his initial menu choices. The personnel isn't the fastest on the planet at meal prep, however, not too poor, unless really, really occupied. Right here, at the VFW eating place, it appears that the portions haven't been reduced i dimension just as much as at Puzzle's, and the components haven't already been cheapened or substituted just as much as they appear to have been, at Mike's other cafe or Puzzles. As usually, fr wager bang foor the buck the every day specials are probably the ideal solution, if you want the special of your day, on your day you're there.

family members friendly great local and american meals with a contact of tastes from all over the world. The purchase price is good perhaps a little higher for the locals but really worth the cost for excellent atumspere friemdly helpful employees and a few armed service veterans coming inand out

Great location for breakfast, lunch time, or dinner. Good selection of American and nearby dishes to select from. Depending everything you get food could be average to really tasty. Generous portions are offered. Pricing is quite reasonable. Service personnel are nice and expert. Personnel can getoverwhelmed though if its hectic so please show patience.

I have to say that We picked vfw for the family Christmas food for 11 folks on December 25th. out of 7 other areas that people could of gone as well. Turkey with the trimmings. what we got was Turkey. sloppy wet corn. sloppy mashpotato. stuffing. all protected in gravy. and a wet bread supper bun from the wet corn. I had to require cranberry . I picked here because the food is actually good other times. amazed that there is no carrots or any veg. also exactly what is a roast dinner devoid of roast potatoes ? this meal was 1st class rubbish today. I asked to get hold of your manager however, not here only Philippino lady. then before we'd even finished eating you presented the cheese cake desert that stopped the kids eating there dinner. we are devastated nowadays you ruined our supper.

Breakfast and omelette has been very good on several different occasions within my visit. Free of charge refills on coffee as well was also loved. The hamburger I experienced for lunch on another occasion was not really as effective as it offers that weird Filipino hamburger taste, notas great as western ( as well as 90% Monterey beef I purchase in the Phils).

The area felt friendly to my Filipina wife and I. We went there, on / off, for years. The meals is okay, plus they do have every day specials. But, mostly, this business a aged Viet Nam Vets, from all branches of the armed service. Some aregrouchy (Maybe because of medication and age group, Ha Ha), while some are very welcoming. Exactly like any other invest the world, I've visited. I noticed a poor view from a person who posted about 4 years back. Uncertain what he anticipated, but, I did so not encounter what he mentioned.

The area was empty whenever we had late lunch time. The waitress was really polite and accommodating. We'd burgers, steaks, sandwiches and salads. As typical the servings were extremely adequate and support was quick. The steaks were nicely cooked and seasoned. These were tasty andtender. The burgers had been large and juicy. We furthermore had ribs also it was quite tender and delicious. Most of us had an extremely satisfying meals. Costs were reasonable. Should keep coming back again.
