Great venue, wonderful program, but food not in par for the $. oftentimes out of menu options further frustrating diners. Ideally they enhance the menu/quality to complement the venue and provider.

Grand starting of the renovated avenue bar and grill cafe. An excellent vibe in the area only a desk for 2 2 that has been not occupied. Services was exceptional and meals quality had been sensational. Dissapoinring that there is an issue with the pizza cooker. I optedfor the king prawns and the waygu beef from the shakatori grill. Extremely worked up about this location. Do oneself a favour and obtain into THE AVENUE.

The one thing I liked in the places was the Creamy Bacon and Cheesecake. The breakfast in the buffet acquired limited options rather than even hot. In fact all their buffet food aren't warm/hot good enough. The Pasta and Pasta night time was great but theSteak or Grill evening every Saturday was horrible. The dishes had been bland and the steak has been extremely tough and rubbery. Also it was not worthy of the purchase price. The sisig had not been good as properly, it had been served in a standard plate (not really the sizzling plate) and filled with onions and incredibly vinegary. Food usually served late.

Right after enjoying a swim within their beautiful scenic pool enjoyed a good lunch comprising a seafood salad and an acceptable glass of wine. The assistance is good. The menus fairly standard.

LEWIS GRAND Resort, AVENUE RESTAURANT Restaurant REVIEW 7June2019 Context: Lewis Grand Resort and its Avenue Eating place / Bar were the best hangouts in Angeles Town from early 2010 about. I had heretofore composed many reviews that are positive for both hotel and the eating place here onTrip Advisor. Nevertheless, from mid 2015 on I had observed a reliable degradation of both facilities and service. I've not really stayed in the resort since an incident May of 2016 where the hotel amazed me, two times before finish of a 9-time remain that “oh… by the way… we just accept money upon checkout!” We were married December 2018 in LGH amenities and our wedding supper was hosted simply by Avenue. Thus, although I might not really be eligible to examine the hotel, by itself, the conditions evolving with the hotel affect efficiency and delivery of high quality food and service on Avenue. This review is approximately The Avenue Restaurant and Bar- which evokes images of Rick’s Casablanca bar, and remains a really elegant environment. LGH continues to bleed their finest employees: front desk personnel Ice, Anne, Wynette; right now my favorite motorists Joel, Arnel…. All getting better jobs. Likewise ,The Avenue cafe has lost nearly the primary waitstaff: Paula, Jenny, RoseAnn, Kim, Jenny, Vanessa, Race Ann, Abbey… just about all gone. Bartender Yancey remains to be as does the rest of the jewel Ahmed Abdullah! We still visit the Avenue for lunch time now and then- merely to have lunch time with this guy. Personally i think sorry for the rest of the staff in Avenue. Constantly apologizing for what's obviously really bad administration by LGH. Here are just a couple reasons - accumulated over several visits from December 2018 through earlier July 2019- that Avenue is really a mere shadow of itself. * No wine today on menu * Many of the products listed on the menus aren't available. Too little pizza sauce halted me from buying pizza a final year. And the different parts of the salad (feta cheese or Romaine) tend to be not available. Some time ago, I needed a sandwich but “fries unavailable”- and therefore most sandwich orders aren't available. In the last couple yrs I find they're very frequently out of our home Chardonnay. * No French fries * No pizza sauce * No Salmon * No daily specials * Breakfast buffet without customers For selfish factors, I am hoping The Avenue and LGH recovers and becomes what it was previously: THE VERY BEST hotel and eating place in Angeles City.

I actually stayed four nights and I must say i enjoyed the breakfast buffet. That they had a nice selection of breakfast meats, bacon, ham, tocino, longanisa sausages -- that i need, because I'm on a carbohydrate-limited diet plan for reactive hyperinsulnism and reduced blood sugar. In addition they havean omelet-chef on station, with a good variety of what to devote your omelet ... and when you prefer your breakfast-sweets, that they had a good variety (that i got to ignore). One odd factor -- they played Christmas songs!

On a Friday I sat down in the eating place waiting to be served, after 10 mins no one had bothered to provide me a menus or focus on my desk. Considering I had been the only person in the cafe, I thought this quite poor services consideringall the personnel were guiding the eating place laughing and joking amongst themselves. THEREFORE I still left and ate elsewhere. On the Saturday I again visited the restaurant and exactly the same thing happened, when i left to eat somewhere else I told the employees at reception , that as couple of people visited the cafe it had been no wonder as you wouldn't normally be served !!
