Pizza Italiana is really a small cafe helping Italian foods and is situated in the strip mall on Malabanas Street. The dog owner is friendl The good: The dog owner is attentive The bad: The cafe is quite small and contains awkward seating The rated food was subpar:1. Gorgonzola pizza w/Italian bacon: the pizza included no bacon, the crust has been however, average quality. 2. Pasta w/salmon in creamy tomato sauce: the sauce had been a whitened sauce that contained hardly any salmon. The ugly: 3. The appetizer: sautéed shrimps in homemade cocktail sauce weren't sautéed but boiled/steamed and has been an ugly display with a "thousand island" kind dressing dolloped in the centre. The shrimp nevertheless were of average high quality by themselves.

For those who have travelled this portion of the world when i have you then will understand that the dear Filipinos have generally cast their culinary great deal in making use of their former colonisers, the united states. A pity they haven't maintained stronger cooking ties with previously colonisers, theSpanish. Because of this much of the meals has ended cheesed, over fried and over sugared. And yes it seems that lots of restaurants here desire to being a US design chain restaurant filled with garish signage and uniformed personnel. Most often the meals takes second spot to the hype. So it's refreshing to locate a place here helping good Italian food made by an Italian owner. It isn't fancy fare nonetheless it has center and that (in the reviewer's humble viewpoint) counts for a good deal. While I ate my extremely delicious spaghetti bolognese the dog owner, Luca, was planning yourself the dough for pizza bases. Just the fundamentals here: flour, drinking water, yeast ie none of the synthetic flavours and additives that appear to be used right here with abandon. It's start for Pizza Italiana, open up a month at period of writing, so end up being gentle. There is prospect of excellence here. EASILY get some good Parmigiano Reggiano or comparable on my pasta the next time (probably very tricky to find in this section of the world) I'll upgrade my ranking to 5 stars. It's near to the German Edelweiss restaurant that is excellent for most of exactly the same reasons.

We went there to use the pizza (that was super yummy) and returned right the very next day to use the pasta as well. Since that time I went there one or more times a day (your meal) for your 7 days and every dish Itired really was good. You gotta attempt the coffee also.

A very small cafe with big aspirations. Uncertain how successful they'll be. I've walked past often and in no way seen a person. I thought I'd try a pizza peperoni. I came across it average at very best. The cheese was simply melted andmeat not prepared at all with too much flour on base.
